  WM dropped us after 15 years of service. They said our route was annoying and too 'rural' even though we're only a mile from city limits. Even when they did provide service, we sometimes went months without them emptying our container. The drivers of the trucks were usually very nice. I think the parent company is just more about saving money than customer service.

  Not picking up our trash. They are now over a week behind on pickup and we get the same story from them daily. Oh, they'll be there tomorrow. They'll be there by noon. Yea right. They continue to LIE and say that service has been completed DAILY and it clearly isnt. They are not honoring their contract and we have an overflowing dumpster waiting on them to pick up. No one can explain what is going on. Totally inept horrible company. The lowest of the low.

  Horrible. Sporadic pick up times and recently changed pick up day of the week with NO notice. 2 weeks in a row our house has been skipped and other houses on the block are getting skipped as well (both recycling and trash). Cannot get a hold of a real person to talk to about getting money back for failure to complete service. We pay for weekly pick ups and we are not getting what we paid for, at all.

  I would not recommend this company. We pay for twice-a-month service. In the past year, we have gone over a month with no garbage pick up. Several phone calls to corporate and local have lead to no success. We keep getting told, " the trucks are broke down." They have told us they will credit our account, but don't.
  
  Not only are the flies horrendous around the trash, racoons are digging in the waste and spreading it all over our yard. We are currently looking for other sanitation options.

  Waste Management is incapable of making pickups in a timely manner, no matter what 'schedule' your service is on. They show up at all hours (when they manage to pickup) with zero consistency and poor communication of delays or ETA'S. They have damaged their own dumpster several times. We've been waiting on a replacement for over 3 months now. When I call I am always told it's coming Monday. It must be a Monday 5 years from now, though. It does not matter how many pick ups are late or missed though, they are certain to bill you on time for the full amount!
  
  0 stars. Would never recommend. We're waiting for someone (anyone) else to provide waste services to our area and will make the switch.
