  All in all, WM has done a good job over the years. Every once in a while I have a problem where my recycling is not picked up and have to fight with customer service to get a credit, but those incidents are few and far between. My only complaint is that I am forced to have both garbage and recycling which costs me over $60 and customer service tells me that I am required to have both services.

  I have tried to call my local rep several times and left them messages. All I wanted to know and understand why my bill was more than double for one month. If this does not get resolved I will be switching carriers.

  More than 5 weeks without recycling service. I concede we got behind on our bill. But, we've paid up. And called.. wasting a lunch break to be promised services they refuse to complete. No wonder half of my neighbors use a competitor. At this point? It looks petty and, for some reason, almost personal. Like this driver is NOT GOING TO PICK UP! PERIOD! Luckily, my wife is in charge! For them. Or I wouldn't have wasted this much energy on a national corporation who really doesn't care about personal service or things like integrity and following through with action, not boiler plate lipservice!

  For the last 2 months know trash is not picked up now recycling is not picked up. Told it wasn't out. I put it out at 4:30am every Tuesday morning. I have a camera that records I have proof it is out there. What is going on with you guys. This is getting absolutely ridiculous. We have asked for a new trashcan since the drivers just toss them or let them fall. Still have not gotten one over a year know. So tired of calling and asking why and being told they didn't see it. Funny the trash was picked up yesterday but the recycling wasn't.

  Bottom line up front, use a local company.
  
  I’ve been a customer with WM since 2017. Up until a month ago, I’d have had nothing to say about their services. They pick up your garbage. Nothing more. Nothing less.
  
  Four weeks ago, that all changed. The first issue was a drastic change in the usual pickup time (they picked up in the early morning vs early afternoon). I usually take the garbage out on my way to work and missed the pickup. I own that one because it was at least on the right date but it was the start of a string of problems.
  
  They followed that up by skipping the next pickup all together.
  
  The next week, they broke the lid off the container and couldn’t get it replaced until 3 weeks later.
  
  The week after that, they changed my pickup date from Monday to Wednesday with absolutely zero communication. That resulted in another missed pickup.
  
  Finally, the date of the scheduled container repair comes and goes. I get an email saying the repair was rescheduled for the following day. That day comes and goes… no repair. No communication from the company.
  
  I’m through with WM. Not sure what happened to them in the last month… but I’d stay away.
