Good location, easy to get around. Rooms are clean and quiet. Lots of things near by to do. Very helpful staff.

Great service, mostly of the staff were friendly, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. However, they don't offer complimentary WiFi or at a more reasonable rate, there were also used plates/drinks left outside of rooms on our floor all day if not longer, and there was gum that was stuck to the carpet for who knows how long before I stepped in it. Oh, and we also had mold in our shower. While the hotel wasn't trashy, I've been in less expensive hotels that were better maintained.

Extremely helpful and professional staff - from check-in, concierge, restaurant, and bar. Room was clean and comfortable and always tidied up by staff while I was out working. Decent gym, indoor hot tub and outdoor heated pool - great watching the sun set while enjoying a swim.
Breakfast can get busy at the restaurant, but was always good. I definitely recommend the breakfast burrito. I also recommend the Tuscan pizza for lunch. The bar also had good local beers on tap.
Extremely convenient location to great restaurants, convention center and the mall (next door in case you need something).

Quality rooms with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Excellent location to downtown San Diego with great food spots nearby. Concierge made an excellent recommendation for dinner and we had another wonderful meal served by room serve out by the pool.response / report this review -

Nice hotel. The staff is excellent, especially the valet! The rooms was a bit worn and in need of some updating, but overall good. Whatever the room lacked the staff made up for.

This hotel was the second one we stayed at while on a 10 day vacation in California and I have to say that this place is great. Excellent location being walking distance to the Gaslamp district. The hotel is very clean. Our room was upgraded right away being SPG members to the 16th floor giving us a great view of downtown San Diego. Guest services were excellent and very knowledgeable including the concierge. Our room was spotless with comfortable beds and pillows. We again chose to go green to get extra points per night. The pool area was very nice and was outside with plenty of room to swim. The hot tub was right across from it too . Very nice gym with modern equipment. The garden terrace floor was very convenient for smoking. I just didn't like to pay for parking 50 dollar cost per day . Though the valet was good never waiting more then 5 minutes for my car. Truly had an amazing experience staying at this place. Would easily recommend and return

Location was prime and next to the Westfield. Plenty of restaurants nearby. The pool is relatively small (15 people maximum) and the jacuzzi could only fit 3-4 people maximum. Fitness center had a wide variety of different equipment for an individual including yoga balls. Service was nice as they could upgrade you to another room for a price with a balcony or bigger room. Style was nice, but I wished there was an easier way to plug in a blow dryer while go all the way to the living room to do so. The cabinet to store clothes was very stylish and I wished I had one at home. Also they have these it resting night lights so you can read or high beam your companion.

The people were very friendly and even though I had issues with billing, everything was taken care of the moment I contacted them. The place is centrally located and close to everything that's downtown. The room was spacious with all the amenities I look for: fridge, safe, plenty of outlets and lots of storage. Everything was clean and the bed was amazing! Would definitely love to stay here again.

Best Hotel in Downtown Gaslamp District. They are centrally located in the heart of downtown with access to shopping in the same complex. Paul is the perfect Bellman. Professional and courteous. The front desk is customer service oriented and makes check in painless. Rooms are good and you can ask about what they have available with a view. Best Hotel in downtown San Diego. Fantastic customer service from the Starbucks girl named Selena. Such a happy attitude and a great smile. What a wonderful way to start your day. The Bellman named Paul is so customer oriented. Front desk is quick and painless. Rooms are good and you are only yards away from the downtown mall with all the shopping you need. This is a wonderful hotel.

Enter the property and excellent customer service is started at the bell desk by Paul. Professional 5 star service, he will assist you in your questions and luggage needs. The front desk is prompt and gives good customer service. After checking in, step up to the Starbucks counter and get a beautiful happy smile from Alexis. Now you feel like you just arrived at a 5 star hotel and not a 4 star. Your trip is on it's way to a enjoyable stay. Wait till you get to your room.

Beautiful Hotel with excellent customer service. I love starting my morning with the big smile Selina gives everyone at the Starbucks counter to the left of the front desk. Just makes my day go smoothly. Rooms are Good. Service is great. I am glad I came from another state.

Well, I'd never stayed in a Hard Rock property. I had meetings in this hotel before and several lunches and happy hours there before. For a middle-aged sales veteran, I can say it felt like Vegas, but without as many distractions. The security was excellent and I witnessed it firsthand when a minor shop lifter was caught red-handed.well done! The rooms were clean and spacious and the lighting controls were slick. The dual shower heads in the walk-in shower was excellent. Wish I had the Mrs. with me.
