Small boutique wasn't as cozy and unique as ones might expect. Had little boutique touched throughout but the execution was mild. Limited dining options in the hotel and wasn't as lux as one would hope. That being said, the service was good. Location is great for gas lamp, plenty food options nearby. The hotel itself was clean and nice.

This is a great roof top bar and has wonderful views of the city. The furniture is great and comfy. Drinks are creative and good. Food is ok, maybe a little over priced. But you pay for the view.

Staff was helpful, even got a few rare freebies in the room. It's nice to walk up in the morning and not have to pay for a bottle of water. Roof deck was pretty nice, sure it looks great at night but didn't get the chance to have drinks up there. Rooms were very clean

I went there in early november. The hotel is ideally located, the room was modern and nice, the pool and pool service too. The rooftop is really nice. Also happy to have free espressos and muffins in the lobby.

Rooms are nice. We only stayed for a night for a Halloween event. The traffic was absolutely terrible though, it took nearly 15-20 minutes just to escape the block at around midnight. Definitely would have been quicker to walk a few blocks out of the way before calling a ride. The actual place was fantastic and right in the heart of downtown, so walking to nearby places is a breeze

Cool rooftop. Drinks are pricey as expected. Pool seems nice but we didn't really get the full experience as we went for drinks around 8. Seems like it's pretty popular late night, but we just did one drink. Solid spot with a trendy feel.

I received a strong recommendation to stay here by a Hyatt Globalist. Check in was odd. Room was fine. Basic amenities weren't provided. Had to stop by front desk even after asking guest services and housekeeping. I tipped everyday. No rooftop brunch served. No reason given. I really felt that no one cared about the guests. Too busy posing and trying to look "Brooklyn" hip.

Nice location. It's in the middle of gaslamp district but a little off the path so it's not too loud at night. Hotel is neat and modern. Roof deck pool is nice and relaxing. Staff was excellent and accommodating. I would go back and stay. Only thing was that our room was a bit small given it was a suite..

Staying at the Andaz for 5 days for a conference going on in San Diego. Came here with coworkers last year and loved the rooftop pool area and lounge so much, we all decided to stay here this time around. Very accommodating staff and great rooms. No complaints

Cool hotel in Gaslamp District. Very courteous staff, modern meeting rooms and beautiful rooftop bar and restaurant. Close to restaurants and entertainment. Less than one mile to USS Midway. Had a group of 30 and everyone loved it!

I stayed at the Andaz when I went to Comic-Con one year. I loved the room. It was modern and fun. The hotel staff were nice and attentive.

Cons: Do not stay here with random people you want to room with when going to something like comic-con. The rooms are modern and sexy. I had to watch two poor guys in the lobby trying to get a new room because the open glass shower was freaking them out.
Also, bring a noise cancelling machine or portable speaker. The night club noise from inside the hotel AND outside the hotel is very loud. I learned this before I went and brought a speaker with me. I played rain music all night and slept just fine.

The room was very nice and comfortable. The complimentary snacks and beverages were great. It was a little noisy at times with construction, and the room was not very well lit. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Was a little disappointed with the room service menu. There weren't a ton of options. Overall..it was a great stay.
