We have been coming here for over 25 years. We love it in fact it's my wife's favorite place to stay. Everything is first class, service, rooms, food,atmosphere, fun and relaxing. They make you feel special every time. We spend Christmas here almost every year. Opelika Alabama.

I live in the area, and have visited the Grove Park Inn many times over the years. It's a wonderful hotel, with a beautiful interior and amazing amenities. The food, decorations (especially the holiday ones), rooms, and staff are all amazing. The spa is wonderful and has a unique design that is very pleasing to be a part of. The rooms are very nice, nothing particularly special about them. The dining options are delicious and decadent, with a price tag to match. Would highly recommend staying here at least once. The views are breathtaking, and the experience is well worth it.

Omni has some beautiful properties but this is one of the best. Sprawling over the top of a hill near Asheville, it offers unbelievable vistas of the surrounding area, all from the leisure of the sunset patio or the balconies from the rooms. The resort has every type of recreational activity you could want, together with multiple restaurants and cafes and an award-winning spa. The staff could not have been more helpful throughout our stay, and our Loyalty Ambassador went above and beyond to make our trip special. I think you could happily stay here for a long, long time and never leave the property.

This place is awesome. Fine dining, upscale bars, gift shops, and great views. Only negative thing I would say is that if you are younger some staff may look down on you and don't treat you like the other guests. That was my experience the three times I've gone. Nice to stroll through in the Christmas Season and holidays with colleagues or date.

Wee went the the Groove Park Inn for Thanksgiving dinner and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The quality of food and service was fantastic. With that said, the amount of people being served and manner in which many acres detected from the overall experience. The buffet service could be a little more organized which would have improved out experience. I will note the desserts were incredible!

It was amazing staying at the Omni Grove Park Inn. The resort itself is an experience because it's so historical. You'll not want to stay in your room so you can spend time in the lobby that has a fireplace and rocking chairs or explore the amazing views from the landscaped part on the back half of the resort that overlook the mountains. You could actually never leave the resort at all while here. Restaurant are great! Reservations are a must! The rooms are a bit small. Bathrooms might be a bit dated. But who cares. This place has real charm. You'll probably stay no where else like this!

I went to eat at the Blue Ridge Farm to Table Artisianal Buffet. That was by far the best meal I've had in a long time. I will definitely come back next time I'm in town. Everything on the buffet was fantastic. The collard greens and Prime Rib was the best though. The Prime Rib was cooked to perfection.Even the desert was fantastic. The Bananas Foster was cooked right in front of me and made me want to save more room for it next time.

Wow, Wow and WOW. What a place this is. Terrific panoramic views of the mountains in the back, unbelievable food and a place with the reputation of having celebrities, movie stars playwrites, dignitaries eat/stay at the property. Started in 1913 and still going strong. No accident there for sure. There is also a golf course as well. The only negative is the parking is not good but you get the first 3 hours of parking free - but you'll need all that to eat your huge meal and find your car. The cost is a little high, but to be expected for this level of service. It's also on my wife's top 5 best meals of her life, so it's a 5 out of 5 stars for this reviewer. It's fantastic, you will LOVE it.

While we didn't stay overnight at the Omni Grover Park Inn since we were just passing through, we were told by multiple people it was a must see in Asheville This place is stunning. We walked around the beautiful resort and enjoyed the views. It was neat to learn about the history and the girls gingerbread competition. The shops have cute items you can browse and I recommend checking out the museum's on grounds as well. I hope to come back for a stay in the future!

The Inn is amazing. We didn't have a room, just visited for food ave drinks. The interior oh the Inn is beautiful, and you can feel the history in the walls. The views are spectacular, and you can roam around outside and explore the grounds. The dining experience, however, was not great. We dined at Edison. The service was very slow - it took 20 minutes to get our first (and only) round of drinks (2 drinks total). It took another 45 minutes to get our food, and my husband's dish arrived cold. We were there for way longer than is necessary. It seemed our waiter knew we weren't pleased, so tried to make up for it at the last possible second by bringing over a dessert for our Anniversary. It was nice (and yummy) but it didn't make up for the lack of service. We'll definitely be back to the Omni Grove Park Inn, but most likely won't go back to Edison.

The resort is beautiful. Historic but the refurbished rooms outside of the main inn are spacious and updated. The grounds are beautiful and views are amazing. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was there was some plumbing issues that resulted in is switching rooms. Though they upgraded us to a better view they also attempted to charge us more for that upgraded room and not honor the points we had used to pay for our first two nights. Also hotel is not stroller friendly. Overall though a beautiful place to stay. A true destination.

Nice atmosphere and relaxing. It's a big place and can be tricky to get around until you get to know your way around, but the customer service is very good and the restaurants are very good. Rooms are roomy with large bathrooms and are clean and comfortable. They have one of the top rated spas in the world, golf, and is a great place to relax and socialize with friends and family. There is a lot of history.

Was a totally awesome stay except for the bed which hopefully get a up-grade along will the toilet which sits way to short and the flushing is hit or miss if the bowl will flush the whole way! ,and power to one wall gave out on day 2 ! other than that great staff! except for a kindle cord which kinda of jumped out of the bag! called them on that and of course none of the staff of house keeping knows any thing ! must be the pink lady needed it every thing else was in its place and made it home and like i said TOTALLY TOP NOTCH PLACE TO GO! the view and resort spa ,golf course and every thing else is outstanding recommend it to all!!

We just stopped in to look at the hotel, and it is very cool. The lobby has huge fireplaces made of enormous chunks of rock. The view of the mountains out the window is gorgeous. The hotel lobby ambient music of soft jazz is headache inducing, but worth it to walk through to see this unique and huge hotel. There's an area that has a 10 minute video about the hotel and memorabilia of some famous people that stayed here. Overall, interesting, but you don't need to spend much time here unless you plan on also spending much money on the spa or golf course.

Stayed at the Grove Park Inn for a family wedding. Very classy establishment and the valet was excellent and convenient. Very large and spacious great hall. Very beautiful with a rustic old look. The newer rooms were also very beautiful. The golf course was apparently very nice (I didn't play but family did). However, the room I stayed in was in the original section of the building, and had a very spooky feel to it. It also wasn't nearly as clean as newer hotels. Overall, a very pleasant stay.
