It was clean, had all the things you need, not all the things you want. It got the job done. As I was leaving, I noticed it had a small pool so that's nice. I guess the only thing it didn't offer was breakfast. Staff was nice. Overall good stay.

Our room was okay. For the price it isn't worth it(over $300 weekend of crazy snow- December 9) . The bed is very hard and the pull out couch was beyond desirable. We weren't able to use the pull out couch at all. It was dirty and there were no sheets for it. When sitting on the couch the cushions continuously fell into the base(see pics). The 1 staff member was nice and pool was ok(towels are beyond ridiculous-sized of hand towels).

Our stay here could not have been better. The room was great, clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was great. The staff was extremely pleasant, professional and friendly, Davis went above and beyond to help us. This will be our Asheville home for all our future visits.

Nice hotel with helpful staff. Pool was small and no breakfast included. Our room was the last available so we got the wheel chair accessable room which was nice and big but the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor.

Though you might miss your turn trying to get to the hotel off Tunnel Rd, once you're there it's just fine. Walking distance to a couple places to eat, grocery, and just a quick jaunt away from downtown, this hotel has a good location going for it. It was very clean and the hotel staff was pleasant. Facilities seemed to work properly and I didn't run any problems on my one night stay. Going back to Asheville soon to finish work, and I will likely stay here again.

Although this hotel is not technically downtown, it it very close and convenient without the extra $100+ per night and parking fees to stay in a hotel in actual downtown. My only complaint about the room is that the bed was a little hard, but I sleep on a nice memory foam mattress at home so I could just be spoiled. Everything was very clean and the water pressure in the shower was great.
A lot of reviews complain that breakfast is not free. The hotel does not advertise complimentary breakfast. Many hotels do not offer free breakfast so that is people's own fault for expecting that without doing any research at all.
Another complaint I have is more for Google maps. They say the destination is right off of the main road when really it is tucked being some restaurants and stuff. It took us a little bit to figure out how to get to the hotel since Google told us we were there when we actually had to drive down the road a bit more to get to the hotel entrance.

Reserved for 7/28-7/30 for a Spartan race I am running in and wanted to enjoy Asheville for the first time. Arrived at 11 pm and it was a 4 hour drive. Excited to get there and unpack and unwind for the 8 mile obstacle run. Gentleman 7/28 was RUDE. Didn't make anything better no apologies. We had a service dog and told him this a service dog and he said "yeah I know. Or I would turn you away. " We paid $322 for 11
Hours. Love it Morning after we were told complementary breakfast and NO was not but thank goodness for the nice lady working 7/29 AM. Will never use holiday inn again and reserved a room cheaper and BETTER customer service. Thanks Holiday Inn for making my first 5 minutes in Asheville wonderful 😡😡

normally Holiday Inn & Suites are very high on my hotel radar when I'm traveling for work. Unfortunately their must be something in the water in Downtown Asheville, N.C. Do not expect anything close to average customer service at this location. Rooms are okay but not worth the disrespectful service. If it wasn't for a friendly gentleman that took care of me at shift change I would have walked out the front door and been out $120 plus. For him and only himthanks. Don't waste your time or patience on this place

The hotel had clean rooms and a nice pool. Free shuttle service was awesome! Kitchen staff was not organized and poor service for breakfast. Overall, it was a good experience.

Today is my second time checking in this hotel this week. First time went to weight room and the key pad battery was dead and no maintenance person to help open it at 8am. Today the guy at the front desk was short and rude as all get out. Asked for my credit card and drivers license. Never asked or cared for that matter if I was an IHG Member. Gave him my card and license like he asked as well as my Gold Card and he handed my Gold Card back right away and all but refused to put it on my reservation. I asked if he had my IHG number on it and he says "What is it?" Never told me about breakfast never told me about the bar or restaurant hours nothing. RUDE! Rooms are nice and clean gentleman must be having a bad day.

This hotel is a bargain for the location and amenities! My room was very comfy and set up for privacy if needed (queen suite with jacuzzi tub). The tub in the bedroom was very relaxing! The hotel is clean and also has excellent views. Parking is FREE!! The staff could be a bit friendlier, but the manager was very accommodating and helpful! I have stayed at many hotels in Asheville and this one is my favorite:))

Great price and even a room upgrade! Interesting indoor/outdoor pool. Lobby area is a bit dated and didn't see any self serve coffee/tea area. In-room kureig was a plus.

Great staff. Quiet average room, although on one night we could hear a loud couple having sex. Close to a supermarket and restaurants. A short Uber ride from downtown. Bed was too hard. Thermostat a little wonky. A/C unit really loud. Restaurant in hotel practically non-existent.
