Great hotel! I enjoyed my stay in the past and decided to make this play my destination when returning to San Antonio with my family from Hokkaido this year. Rooms are always clean, and The best part is Social! They make food and have free beer and wine! So happy the staff is multi-lingual, my parents were able to adjust well and communicate in Japanese which is rare in most hotels we stay at in the states.
They're food was pretty horrible but i guess because of renovation or something. The room looked nice however and my son loved the 2 christmas trees
Clean rooms, personable staff and great locationin walking distance to convention center and the Riverwalk.
Continent walk to convention center. Reasonable price, clean rooms. Staff is standard Texas hospitality, very nice. Would start here again.
Stayed 2 weeks during the Hurricane Harvey evacuation. The amenities are what makes this place. No charge laundry room, breakfast and dinner. A great workout room. A very classy looking place. The room i stayed in was well furnished but just sorta mediocre id say with a great view of downtown.
One of the best places i have ever stayed at. Friendly staff, great continental breakfast and awesome views of downtown San Antonio.
I really enjoy staying here. No it is not a fancy pants hotel but it is awesome. Ive enjoyed the complimentry wine and beer, dinner 3 nights a week and an awesome breakfast spread every morning.
The staff is incredible. I actually feel like that over my 6 week stay they keep trying to make my stay better. My room is always so clean i have left so much out from jewelry to cash and it is always respected.
Awesome service, clean room, comfy beds, nice view, nice pool and fitness center, good food, nice walking distance from River Center Mall, stayed there 5 days and had absolutely zero complaints. What a lovely hotel. 😊😊😊
MY AUNT WAS AORKING THERE FOR ALMOST A YEAR EVERYTHING WAS GOING GOOD UNTIL HER BOSS STARTED CHANGING. HER BOSS STARTED TO BE MEAN TO THE HOUSE KEEPERS AND TAKING HER TIPS AND FOOD THAT THE GUESTS WOULD LEAVE HER, SHE FINALLY HAD ENOUGH OF HER BOSS SO SHE QUIT RECENTLY. BOSSES SHOULD SHOW RESPECT AND WORK WELL WITH THERE EMPLOYEES NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.
Location is a brief (approx .5 mile) walk to the Alamo and the River walk. The rooms are very comfortable and available in a number of configurations. Breakfast is in a nicely maintained cafeteria in a buffet style that ranges from omelets, waffles (in the shape of Texas) to oatmeal, pastries and fruit. Parking is a separate but inexpensive fee and is easily accessible with your room key. I would use the Staybridge Suites again for a future visit.
Very nice, clean, large rooms. We stayed in a king room with a kitchen. It had a full size fridge, dish washer, and stove top.
Staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay for the Alamo Bowl. There was mandatory valet during these dates but it's only like this during certain times of the year. (The Alamo Bowl uses their regular parking lot as the fun zone.) Valet was quick and there were no issues.
Parking is extra but it's per stay, not per night like many of the other hotels on the riverwalk. The walk was short and easy to get to the river and the Alamo.
Only reason I stayed at this hotel was because it was free, my cousin offered to pay for it. Me & my girlfriend planned to go to San Antonio to the river walk to see the Christmas lights for our one year anniversary & then come back home the same day but my cousin wanted to treat us. But the hotel was surprisingly decent. The room we got was a good size. Bigger than what I was expecting. Not sure if my cousin requested that or not. The bed was also comfy & big. The service was also great. They have breakfast in the mornings and complimentary DVD movies in the lobby to rent out, free. Just ask for the DVD player at the check in desk. It's super easy to set up.
