The area is not the best, but the hotel itself is nice. The rooms come with a refrigerator, coffee bar, microwave, iron, blow dryer, nice size flat screen tv. Free breakfast, nice spread of items. Only downfall why I wouldn't come back, the bed was horrible so hard even with a mattress cover on it, the couch was also super hard and uncomfortable to sit on.

Great staff, although very understaffed at breakfast, no forks, jammed in breakfast area which was small. Clean rooms. Up from 3:30am -6:15 in room 212 because 211's door slammed every 15 minutes, which rattled our door in the metal frame. 211 was right next to the outside stairwell, traffic regularly coming and going. Very, very upsetting. Spoke to front desk, they said they'd pass on the message. ☹️

Country Inn is a great place to sleep, watch TV, Hot tub, and Larry makes a great breakfast every morning(early)!

We were not allowed to take breakfast back to our room for some reason. We arranged to stay an extra half day, paid, and then got a rude call saying we had overstayed because the woman working the desk did not check the system properly. When we got everything sorted out, we got to our room to realize our keys had already been deactivated so we had to sort that out as well. The one perk is a man who works the front desk. He was super nice and very helpful. I wish I knew his name so I could give credit where credit is due.

Room was clean, bed quite comfortable, everything was in good working order. Breakfast had variety of hot and cold selections, and timely provided. Cookies, coffee, hot water and coca mix readily available even when breakfast room is closed. Staff was friendly and helpful, particularly Raven and Tom. Easy access to and from Lackland A.F.B. and they are very accommodating to the family members attending the coin ceremony and graduation parade. I felt safe at the Country Inn & Suites, and had no problems, although I normally wouldn't want to be in Lackland A.F.B. surrounding area of San Antonio. I would stay at the Country Inn & Suities again if going to Lackland.

We were here for bmt graduation. From check in to check out the staff were amazing! Larry was phenomenal and so friendly! Everyone was so helpful, informative and just so pleasant! We also dealt with hurricane Harvey and they were so comforting and full of insight and information. I would reccomend to anyone coming here for graduation to stay here!!! It will only make your trip that much more amazing! Kudos to everyone here! Thank you!!!

If we return to San Antonio, this is where we will stay again. I recommend to anyone. The service was more than excellent, front desk clerks were friendly and helpful, breakfasts were plentiful and delicious, pool and hot tub were just as great. Room was clean, organized and modern. Kid friendly, easy access to everything surrounding.

Outstanding! The rooms and grounds are well kept and clean. The breakfast is one if the best I've had anywhere but the staff here is what makes this hotel my favorite. (I averaged 89 hotel stays a year for 12 years) The front desk crew is absolutely amazing and go above & beyond to help you in any way possible. It's in a great location with easy access to anywhere you want to go in San Antonio and only 5 minutes from Lackland visitor center for those visiting for a graduation.

Front desk was especially nice and helpful. My room. I'm sure was not cleaned. I had new sheets and the floor appeared swept. But my toilet was barely touch. The top, bottom and behind the seat was dirty (hair, dirt and dust) I bought Lysol wipes, redid only what were were going to touch. The mirrors and windows were half done. Streaks and dirt just smudged around. And a lot of dust on lamps and other hit and miss areas. It just cheapens the look of the hotel. I didn't say anything to the front desk because you never knows what happens to your room and things when your not there. I paid twice the amount for staying here rather than another hotel. I know its because of the closeness to Lackland base. It's just disheartening that you have to wait to till 3 to check in. And your room was barely done.

Rooms were clean. The staff was excellent. Stevie knows was the best at helping us get to Lackland AFB. Great breakfast. I will definitely stay here again.

Extremely happy with the hospitality shown to me by every staff member! A big thank you to Yvette for her kindness to stop and speak to me and give me information and more! Stevie at front desk was very helpful in every way!! The staff makes this hotel!!! I came to Lackland by myself and when I drove up, I was a little concerned about the area but was reassured about my safety and I did feel safe! Very nice atmosphere and great rooms! Thank you!

Awesome place to stay for BMT graduation. Very close to base. Friendly staff, (all of the staff was very accommodating) especially Stevie. He was so helpful. Thank you Stevie. Would recommend this place to anyone. Wonderful service, very clean rooms, and great breakfast. Me and my family really enjoyed our stay. Kudos to yall and your cozy establishment.

We stayed here to be close to base to attend our sons BMT graduation. Our stay was wonderful. Friendly staff, clean rooms and great atmosphere!! I loved that all the guest were there for the same reason. It will be something I always remember. The paper signature wall hangings and decor they do for the families was awesome!! There were a couple of things that could use some maintenance, but the good waayyyy out ways the bad. I would stay again!❤️
