The rooms are nice. I enjoyed my stay. The front desk is pretty rude. I'm not a fan of the front desk staff. When I checked out she gave me a really nasty attitude.
If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around
We were seeking refuge from Hurricane Harvey and found vacancy at this Hampton. It's on high elevation and in a good part of town. Every one there was extremely helpful and kind. The price was surprisingly affordable considering. Even got a good work out at their fitness center. I was very satisfied with their accommodations.
Easy to reserve the room and the service has been just great! Thank you for making us feel welcome.
After seamlessly changing rooms because of a loud, intrusive mechanical noise, our stay was predictably comfortable and pleasant. The management staff were efficient and accommodating. Breakfast was well managed and fresh.
A great place to stay. Friendly staff and very clean and comfy. Child friendly.
It seemed nice. I was just dropping someone off though. Front desk lady was nice. We talked about umbrellas.

Great location. Check in and out easy. Beds comfortable with nice cushy pillows. Good complimentary breakfast. Decent pool.
Our experience here was awesome! All staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! Rooms were very clean and it was a great location! Beds were comfortable. Pool area was nice and clean. Nice patio area. Will definitely be back and recommend Hampton Inn San Antonio- Northwoods 2127 Gold Canyon rd.
Rooms are clean. Very good location
Very friendly staff. Hot breakfast was good. Very positive stay and would come again next time we are in the area.
Friendly staff that helped accommodate any special requests I had. Clean and comfortable room that can get cold quick (a plus for me).
We stayed at the hotel because it is part of the Hilton family. Although it is a step below, we found it comfortable, quiet and pleasant. Another pleasant surprise was the breakfast, which had eggs, sausage, oatmeal, and the venerable waffle.
Hampton Inn still has the edge over the competition on location and service for business travelers.
While the chain is also popular with families, I've found that 1) Hampton is usually the best price/amenities option within a 5 mile radius of the sites I'm working; 2) not having to think about coffee and breakfast is a huge help when you're unsure how long or intense your work day will be; 3) decent safety for latecomers (24-hour front desk, well-lit parking, card-controlled gates and doors at most locations, etc.); 4) room cleanliness and comfort are never problematic.
Main negatives: 1) complimentary wireless has poor speed, security, coverage + proxy snooping/ad injection; 2) erratic refill of room consumables; 3) rooms in busy locations (e.g. ground floor or near elevators) are noisy; 4) not all rooms have 'fridge/microwave - verify when booking; 5) exercise room doesn't have sufficient or well-maintained equipment.
The San Antonio location has always been fully booked during my stays, but I never felt that the service was seriously compromised by the visitor volume. Pricing has remained reasonable and within corporate travel limits, unlike Hamptons in larger metropolitan areas.
