Complex of buildings spread throughout large property with expansive parking lot that isn't free. My large, clean & reasonably updated room faced the freeway with daytime construction noise. The green space outside windows is an overgrown mess. Front desk isn't that friendly. Walked out of bar due to inadequate service. Only positive experience was nice SPG upgraded suite. There is a side gate for guests with keycard that allows easy access to neighboring fast casual restaurants & Whole Foods.

I would describe this hotel as a “Resort Motel”. It’s like a motel, in that you access low buildings from the outside. It’s like a resort in that there are about 1,000 palm trees, a central pool/spa area, and beautiful grounds. If you get to stay in building E, it feels much less like a motel. If you stay in any other building, it feels more like a motel. I’m quite disappointed if I don’t get building E. The best part about this hotel, is its proximity to the strip malls behind it. When travelling for business, there’s nothing better than being close to shops and restaurants. If you want a fun place to hang out with the family, I would recommend it. If you want luxury, I would not, stay at the Marriott La Jolla instead, or downtown.

The beds here are extremely comfortable! Staff is very helpful, the amenities are nice, and everything seems well kept. This is my second stay here and I would come back again.

My wife and I ate at the Hotel and the food was excellent and the service was fantastic. We didn't have to ask for anything. If you want a fine dining experience that this is the place to go.

The rooms are nice, standard hotel rooms. The location is good, right by some good places to eat. Parking is a bit expensive

Location has very easy access to I-5 and I-805, but there's not much around in walking distance. The design of the hotel seems more motel than hotel where there are multiple unconnected 3-story buildings surrounding the pool. The room was spacious and comfortable.

Easy to find location and quite nice grounds. I went for the hotel at a business event and the food was pretty good. Service was fast and professional. Parking was validated. I can't speak to the value though

We liked our stay. Dinner was fine, I had the scallops. Tasted the shrimp, also very good. Rooms were good, beds where very comfortable. Only ding would be the room had a small bathroom. Walkway around and leading to the pool is tropical and a plus.

The pool area is very nice and the garden and koi pond are wonderful! The rooms were small and plain, but clean and there's no balconies to enjoy San Diego's incredible weather. The bed was comfortable.
Our view was of the parking lot, trash cans, and a port-a-pot. They charge $18 a day for a parking fee on top of the room price. I asked the Concierge about local delivery dining and they suggested I call the restaurants myself to find out. Overall disappointed.

I was very happy with this hotel. The grounds are beautiful, the location is close to many restaurants and not too far from the beach either. The rooms are clean and a good size and the beds are some of most comfortable ones I've stayed in. I will definitely be staying here each time I'm in San Diego.

Overall the Sheraton is a nice hotel. The staff at check in were very friendly and helpful. A big plus is the hotel is pet friendly and they charge $50 for the stay. The rooms are clean and modern and came with a mini fridge. The bathroom was really small though. Overall a great place and in a good location.

Comfortable rooms and beds with microwave & mini fridge. A very nice person checked us in and had good recommendations for what to do with our time here. It is very nice to have a pool & hot tub as well. My room definitely met my expectations and I would stay here again

From the moment you arrive for check in you are greeted warmly and welcomed to the hotel. My stay here was tranquil and relaxing. Everyone on the staff was terrific and extremely polite. I never met a staff member that didn't give a warm and sincere greeting. From the grounds crew to the front desk to the housekeeping, this is some of the nicest, hard working staff I've encountered at any hotel. Special thanks to Linda and Junneah at the front desk for their wonderful service and help in making my stay very pleasant. Be sure not to miss the relaxing, heated outdoor Jacuzzi to relax after a long day.

Sheraton La Jolla is great! Very comfortable rooms, and very friendly staff. Very easy check in process, and was able to obtain our room quickly. Definitely would return in the future.
