Room was nice and clean upon check in. Good location. Staff was very pleasant. Other than other guests being noisy, I would rate my stay as a 4 out of 5.

Bed bugs!!!!! Water has out guys! Bed bugs I travel a lot I know exactly what a bed bug issue. Found three in my bed. Told front desk that I just wanted a refund and lady told.me that they typically don't give out refunds at all. She said best bet was to talk to a manager the following. During a time which I will not be here. She pretty much told me sorry that I wouldn't get my money back. Just read a review about a month ago talking about bugs. Here we are a month later and they still have bed bugs!!!

For the price, it's perfect. Kind of weird if you get the ground floor (ask for higher up) but not bad. Parking situation was not great, the spots are small and run out near the evening/night time. Streets parking is less than favorable. Get here earlier if you want a decent parking spot. Hotel was clean, maid service comes by often.

Room was comfortable, clean. Didn't hear any noise from the neighbors. Wish I had time to check out the pool and the spa. This place looks to be popular with long-haul truckers. There were quite a few regulars and they were greeted in a friendly, familiar manner by members of the staff. But don't get the impression that it's run down or rowdy. These are good, blue-collar folks who appreciate a nice place to stay.

Great hotel! Clean, quiet rooms. Staff was very nice, breakfast was great, pool was small but nice. Location was close enough to everything for us. Parking was tight but workable. I would definitely recommend.

We had a nice stay at BB. Breakfast was decent. Internet is fast enough. Staff are ok although they can be a little more friendly. Room was clean but the pillows were not. Each bed has four pillows but only two of them were clean when we checked in. We were too tired to ask them change. We only used the two clean. In general, I would stay there again.

Very friendly and inviting staff. They kept asking if we needed anything and told us to let them know. The rooms are basic but clean. The complimentary breakfast was basic but all of the food was fresh. There is an outdoor swimming pool, though we didn't swim in it. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting the bases covered at a great price.

Surprisingly better than I had expected. Very inexpensive for what we got. Room was sized good. Bathroom is small but very except able. Beds felt fine. Breakfast was free and very basic, but got the job done. Staff was helpful and friendly.

My overall experience at the hotel was great. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel property was in good repair and close to food (walking distance). I would recommend this hotel for anyone who is visiting the area.

Love this hotel. Great vibe when you walk into the lobby. Awesome Rooms, big, clean and modern. Right there in the Gaslamp. Walking distance to some of the best restaurants and clubs in San Diego. Nice bar, with great atmosphere. The loft is very nice also.

When we first arrive and the day after our room had a distinct smell. I don't know if maybe the smell came from the vents, because in our last two days the smell was gone. Staff is approachable and friendly. Good breakfast options. It was pretty quite overall, but the hotel is next to the marine base so you can hear the flying jets.
