If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can get one at HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around

Very elegant place. Had convenient parking for over night stays. Very spacious with big rooms for multiple events. Has a bar, nice rooms with balconies that have mini fridges.

Welcoming, personal receptionist, lively but not-crowded lobby. The lobby is small enough to make you feel part of it but large enough to make it feel interesting. AC was working as quietly as you can wish for, pretty much as convenient and enjoyable as lodging can be without being pampered. Street noise is low until 6:00 AM.

Very personable greeting with helpful staff who were engaging. Rooms were clean and spotless. Ball room staff were attentive and courteous. Made for a very enjoyable stay.

Very pleasant hotel. Rooms are comfortable. A mall with lots of shops and restaurants is within very close walking distance. Nice outdoor bar for a few drinks in the evening too.

My wife and I stayed here for our 4 year anniversary. The room was clean, the decor was nice and updated, and the hotel was beautiful, even considering it was a Marriott. Only 2 downsides for me was the parking was $28 per night and there was no hot tub! It still gets 5 stars from me. Very happy with our night there. Oh yeah, the bed was good too :) Happy Anniversary babe

Staffs are friendly, bar area is nice. Room was a little small though. This Marriott did not have any suite rooms and it didn't have a jacuzzi. It does have a heated pool, so I was able to do my laps before bed. The view is alright. I was on the 8th floor. Balcony was a cool aspect to the hotel.

Very nice place no room service but you order and pick it up down in the lobby. Sounds weird but is actually kind of nice and food is great. Room was very nice and spacious.

A beautiful hotel with an exceptional staff (except for the bar; more on that in a moment). Check in was quick and easy and the room was squeaky clean. The bathroom sink area is very small. And there were no drawers to put clothes into. The bed and furnishes were terrific.
Now about the bar. It's a very comfortable bar, and the outdoor portion is fantastic. But the service is horrible, really!! First night there, I arrived at the bar and, while I was waiting for service, two other separate parties show up. The bartender saw me there first, but these two separate parties were friends of his; they got first service. The next night, I asked for two Spanish coffees. After waiting for 25 minutes, another bartender shows up with half full glasses: coffee and rum, no whipped cream. I asked for some whipped cream and he came back 15 minutes later to say that they were out of it. He was right about that: they are out of it.
This would be a 5-star hotel with an average bar; don't waste your money at their bar.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Everything was perfect from check-in till check-out. The view was nice, beds very comfy, spacious bathrooms, plush towels. The only reason i didn't give 5 stars is the location. Its easy to get to but there is not much around. Nothing convenient. Otherwise its a great hotel.

The San Diego Marriott La Jolla is a beautiful hotel. It's located pretty close to the ocean. And lots of good restaurants around. The rooms are especially nice. Love the bathroom, very spacious. Staff was also extremely friendly.

It was a very nice stay, but if I had read the fine print and seen the $28 parking charge, I would've looked at other options. The location is not too bad; a $10 uber ride from the beach I liked the salsa dance floor that they had Saturday night. A big plus

This was our first time at a Hard Rock property. We had heard great things from friends and family. San Diego is one of our favorite cities. We come every year and stay somewhere different. We were very pleased with the staff!
Wasn't aware of the additional valet charge for leaving the car overnight, but the young lady, Ashley, was very helpful in assisting us with our bags when we arrived and also later on with a restaurant recommendation. We will be back again next year!

Amazing location with balconies in most rooms. Have stayed a many times and loved it. Located right in the center of La Jolla, great central location to San Diego. Only downside is they charge quite a lot for parking but there is free street parking right nearby and the wifi is not free. Overall great experience.

I really like this hotel . The rooms are nice and clean and the beds are comfortable. When I first stayed here I was impressed by the non-smoking status. After trying 3 other high-end "non-smoking" hotels that frankly, stunk of cigarette odors The Marriott was a refreshing change for the better. Yet, over the 2 weeks I stayed.. a number of smokers were on our floor the halls started stinking and it was clear it was coming from a few rooms.. yet the guests weren't asked to leave and the smoking continued. I was told they would fine the guests, but I think they should have been asked to leave. My room was still clean and fresh.
That was a few years ago.
Tonight we booked a room again.. and were shocked at the cost of parking, which has gone up considerably.
There is No excuse for charging a guest 28$ per night to park a single vehicle.. I feel it's an unreasonable additional fee and a disservice to customers! The hotel should hire employees and run their own parking vs. hiring a parking concession. Marriott, Take Note!
