Location is great, within a couple of blocks of the Capitol, Air and Space museum. Nice rooms, the suites are spacious for six of us. Pretty standard breakfast each morning, but the staff is so friendly! Kid-friendly for the most part. The pool is great for us to play. Anytime we have needed service, we have gotten it very quickly.

Great experience. Awesome room. Full complete breakfast included. Haas pool warm and very hot jacuzzi for this type of weather

Decent place to stay if wanting more space and to cook in-room. Free breakfast is adequate. No onsite restaurant. Rooms have a strong unpleasant odor. Stayed in two different rooms on different floors and experienced same odor. Rooms are a bit dated.

The hotel was clean and our stay was comfortable. Management has a letter in every room apologizing in advance for any inconvenience caused by renovations. While we didn't directly experience any inconveniences, I could see why they want the place to have a new coat of paint, etc. The place isn't bad but could use a little brightening up; hopefully some rearranging of the breakfast area. One of four elevators was out of service. The staff helped with all of our requests: early check in, late check out and a bag check. The hotel is 3 blocks from the National Mall and 1.5 from the nearest Metro stop, which serves 3 lines. It's also just off the interstate, for anyone driving. Although we never heard the road, we did hear trains, which have tracks on the backside of the building. They didn't bother me but I see how they could if you're a really light sleeper. If so, I'd simply ask for a room not over-looking the tracks.

My family's stay at this hotel was excellent. Each room has a kitchenette that includes a full size refrigerator and freezer, a stove, a dishwasher, and a microwave oven. You can also have groceries delivered at no additional charge directly to your room by simply filling out a list and bringing it to the front desk. Overall this is a very nice place to stay especially if you don't want to eat restaurant food every night. My only complaint is that the hotel itself does not have a restaurant and most of the places to eat around it close by the evening. This can make it difficult to find some place to have dinner if you don't want to cook in the kitchenette.

Besides this caveat, everything else about this place was great. The rooms were quiet, the AC and heating system worked, and it was close to several Metro stations. Would definitely visit again.

Great location, great service! Breakfast is included and enjoyable. All rooms have a kitchen, and grocery service is available as well if you are staying more than a few days. Everything is very clean and modern. I will be visiting again next time I'm in DC.

Above average nice hotel spacious rooms and suites but pullout sofa needs to be refurbished .I have stayed at other suite hotels with pullout sofas as comfortable as bed - not here mattress incredibly thin and uncomfortable .Free buffet breakfast is always nice and something I look for when travelling with family (instant eggs -ill)but otherwise good selection ,friendly staff. Elevator requires room key card to move -added security IDK but provides the illusion of such. Daily rate for parking but garage space is limited !I had to park on the street but fortunately it was weekend and I did not have to pay at meter -during week street parking is metered.

This hotel was was very nice. It is geared more for the business traveler but will work fine for families. There is a break served every morning (included with your stay) and light a snack in the evening. There is a pool/spa and some exercise equipment if that's your thing. It is in a great location across from the NASA Bldg about 3 1/2 blocks off the mall, so when you're ready for some quiet time you can leave the mall behind. There are small restaurants and coffee places near but be aware some close early as they are visited mainly by the office workers in the area.

A/C kept cutting off when there was no activity in the room. Such as when we were sleeping. Contacted desk and they came quickly, but it was an uncomfortable experience. The breakfast was well done and the eggs were not of the powder variety. The staff in the dining room are awesome, so this revue is not of them, but the Hotel itself and the corporate policies. There is also little parking and you must pay to park when it is far cheaper using something like Parking Ninja.

We stayed for a week in a 2 bed 2 bath suite and it was wonderful. A full kitchen with all the trappings and a wonderfully helpful staff and housekeeping service. A great breakfast each morning and an incredibly convenient location to all the best attractions. Excellent experience and a great place to relax on vacation.

We visited this Residence Inn this past weekend (Apr 28-30) and were very pleased with our stay. The room was great, (clean & well appointed) and perfect for our needs. The location is very convenient to all of the DC area. We encountered many different staff members (Front Desk, Engineering, Housekeeping, Breakfast staff, Concierge) and every single associate was extremely friendly, pleasant and very willing to help. Having been in Hotel Management in my earlier life, I was very impressed with this property, especially the staff.

I would highly recommend this facility, and willl definitely stay here again on future visits to the area!

Breakfast was excellent here. The location is very good. No more than a 30 min walk from anywhere you might want to see. Wifi is fast enough for casual needs. The room is cozy and very comfortable

The place is well kept and clean. However, the staff is not friendly nor helpful. Too often we saw people just standing around not doing anything , even though we were at the desk. The breakfast scene is a mad house. Not very organized and stuff running out all the time. Lastly, if you are in dc for site seeing and not renting a car.this isn't the location for you. Try to stay on the other side of the mall.

    Great location.
Breakfast is pretty good. It was packed and the staff do a good job keeping things clean and fresh.
Check in complaint, I requested an Elite upgrade. Because of our week long stay, they were of able to accommodate it for the whole stay. I was hoping they would offer the upgrade for part of the week. Nope. But, she said they would get us a nice room to stay in. I think we received the opposite. The room needs to be freshened up for sure. Furniture just starting to show wear. The view, peering into an office building 20 feet away. A bit disappointing.
    Anyway, there it is.
