Decent clean modern rooms. friendly staff great price, great breakfast brunch price. Cant give 5 star was a little odd the mini fridge was just on the floor in the corner. THE AIR WAS NOT SENDING COOL AIR AT ALL IT WAS VERY WARM IN THE ROOM maybe its turned off because its declittle noisy form the neighboring rooms, cab driver warned us not to open doors from homeless ppl knocking on our room door , which makes no sense how will they get in? weird advice. They had me listed as pool view i never saw a pool.

I've stayed here several times and I've always had a great experience. The staff is always very pleasant and quick to offer advice to travelers who are looking for things to do in the area. The hotel is located in a safe, clean neighborhood within walking distance to many great restaurants.

It provides the basics, and served our purpose.. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. My challenge was the lack of central AC. The room was cooled via one old school wall unit. It was not enough to keep the room sufficiently cool at night. I was continuously waking up throughout the night.

Really great value hotel and the staff are nice. Comfortable clean rooms and great bar. There's a free shuttle bus to tourist attractions in the mornings. However I only rate 3 stars because the pool was closed and this was the main reason we booked here. The weather was consistently in high 80's so how silly not to extend the season when it's so hot. We enjoyed bar food on our first night so the next night we arrived back to eat around 10pm as we knew they serve until 1030pm but the kitchen was closed, not great. Would stay again but will compare to other places with regards to the pool.

The hotel is located in an area with a lot of highway noise, and being an older building, the soundproofing is not very good. The room is fairly up to date, but the HVAC seems dated and doesn't have auto climate control. You need to adjust it from the main unit by the window. The bed was very comfortable and I got a great night's sleep. However my shower the next morning was not very good. The water gets hot, but pressure is very low. I don't have long hair, but it took almost 5 minutes to rinse the shampoo from my hair.

Had a friend in town that stayed here. It was cute and clean with a retro vibe, but modern things. The pool and pool side bar are great as well. only downside is that even if you are staying at the hotel parking is $40 a day. . . pretty steep when the parking meter is much less. Other than that I'd recommend out of town folks to stay there, reasonable prices too.

Love the location half a mile from a grocery store and pharmacy. The rooms were big and clean. Great price. Best pool in d.c with a lifeguard.kind staff. Food service is very affordable. Absolutely loved it. (If you get food at the pool be sure to try the Buffalo wings they are the best you ever had

I can't speak about the hotel itself. We purchased parking for the Nationals game. The garage was nice enough. Close to the stadium. Price was decent for DC parking. Still higher than I would have liked but it was a 5 minute walk to the stadium. Getting out after the game was a pain. But that was a combination of location and bad drivers.

The location is okay. They have ample parking in parking garage. The entrance is okay to get to if you're coming off of 695 to the the South Capitol Street exit. I've never stayed in the room there. I've been through a event and picked up a couple of people there. I drive Lyft so I've stopped in a couple of times before. It's a nice hotel. They do host events. Everyone has been happy with what they intended. Nice interior at the lobby area and at the pool..

The front desk staff is, more often than not, a little impersonal. But otherwise, a lovely place to stay. The rooms are clean, the bed is soft, the food is good and the view is beautiful.

Rooms are great! Recently updated, clean, and good furniture. Lobby is beautiful and useful as well. Exterior of hotel looks a bit worn down, but not bad. Pool is beautiful. Neighborhood is on the rise. So.e blocks look not great, but really good food/bars close by, as is Nationals stadium and capitol hill. Great price on room, too. All things considered, this is a great find!

Worst experience ever and I've seen bad service. The hotel was dump and someone was arrested outside our window. Not sure if in a safe location. As a mom this isn't what I wanted my kids to see. I booked this hotel based on the pool and called ahead to see if it was open and they said it was. THEY LIED. The pool was closed and we were kicked off the pool deck regardless of being told the pool was open noon-9. Don't stay here you will regret it.
