This was my third stay at Woodley Park, certainly my favorite place in a beautiful city. Not only is Woodley Park centrally located, near the metro, and reasonably priced, but guests are treated with true hospitality. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast includes fresh cut fruit salad daily, delicious varieties of bread with gluten free options, as well as the normal cereals, juice, coffee and tea. Fresh baked cookies and tea are available all day. For me the best part is the friendliness and genuine helpfulness of the staff. This is truly a "guest house" and not just a B&B.

Quaint and comfy. I got in late and left right after breakfast so my stay was short. Slept with the windows open because the temperature was too warm for me. The bed was super comfy. Breakfast was outstanding. The staff called me by name. Got some good tips on getting into the African American Museum of History and Culture. They even invited me to come and sit on the porch when I moved across the street to my conference hotel.

My hubby and I spent 4 nights here for our "babymoon" and had the best time! The staff was incredible - so friendly and helpful in so many ways. We cannot thank them enough for creating such a wonderful experience for us. The location of the guest house was super convenient to restaurants and the metro. Our room was lovely and was in a relatively quieter area in the city. We definitely recommend!!

My husband and I recently took a trip to DC for our honeymoon and couldn't be happier with our experience at the Woodley Park Guest house. We were located in a safe area very close to the metro and the best restaurants. Raymond, Tonieya, and Kelly were very kind to us and quite informative! The complimentary beer/wine and breakfast was also a plus! We had a great time and we look forward to our next trip to DC!

The Woodley Park Guest House is beautiful, quiet, clean, and cozy, and the staff is exceptionally professional, yet warm and friendly. I was in DC for a conference event, and also as a tourist in DC for the first time and I loved my stay there, this past spring season. It was one of the best parts of my trip to DC and by far, the best hotel/inn experience that I’ve ever had. It is very conveniently located close to a Metro station, making it very easy to get to the National Mall and various downtown areas through the Metro, and also a very short walking distance to convenience stores for any necessities, and many fabulous restaurants. The neighborhood is beautiful, as well as the inn, itself. Parking cost extra but it was a great relief and convenience to have guaranteed parking space in DC that wasn’t valet or a garage. I slept so well while I was there, as everything (the bed, room) was so clean and comfortable, much more than any 4-star hotel that I’ve ever been to. Breakfast options were refreshingly simple, delicious, healthy and high quality, and the coffee was high quality too. I loved that there were no TVs in the rooms (or anywhere) but there was a prominent bookcase in the foyer with classics and non-fiction, along with a small table with established periodicals, such as the NY Times, the Washington Post. I could go on, because there is so much that I liked and appreciated, especially the little details, like the white noise machine provided in the room, the selection of Twinings tea available throughout the day, and the decor, giving character throughout the inn, even the website and correspondence with the staff by email when I was booking my room, before I arrived in DC. Maybe because I am a quiet and introspective person, but the Woodley Park Guest House really spoke to my soul and was beyond my expectations. It is also very affordable and for the price, I feel like I got so much quality in return. If I ever return to DC, I would love to stay at the Woodley Park Guest House again.

Awesome B&B. Rooms are cozy and they always serve up something great for breakfast. Located near the Zoo and hotels. Close to a cool historic neighborhood.

I loved my recent stay at the Woodley Park Guest House. It was my second time staying here while attending a conference at a large nearby hotel. It's so nice to start the day with a delicious breakfast with Courtney (the owner), her friendly staff and new friends, and to return after a long day to a place that feels so much like home. The guest house is super convenient to great dining, beautiful strolls/runs and the metro. My favorite: a late night porch visit with colleagues.
