Nice venue, with clean rooms and friendly staff. Location is very good, basically just a five minute walk to Venice Beach, and with a few restaurants around the area. The breakfast they offer is nothing to go crazy about (your normal small self service bagel, biscuits, muffins ) But I'll take it for the location.

The inn at venice beach has a great open air courtyard and is close to the beach. Extremely friendly staff. The rooms were nice. They had free cookies too!

This hotel is on the bottom end of 3 stars, older, no frills. Bed was comfortable and linens were clean. Bathroom was tiny and hard to get in and out of because the door blocked the toilet when it was open. I also had an issue with really disgusting water backing up into my shower/tub which left behind hairs, sludge, etc. :( Staff was super nice and apologized for the issue and comped me the in room water bottle, but didn't seem surprised by the issue. The staff is the only reason I would think to come back, but unfortunately the quality of the hotel room wouldn't get me back.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was clean and location is outstanding. Walkable to the beach and tons of great restaurants. There are also free breakfast items in the morning. Parking was $20 a night, but that was expected. It's on the first level, so is covered and felt safe. The staff was very nice and always friendly. We'd gladly stay here again!

The staff here is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is old but has been tastefully renovated. The rooms are nicely decorated and the beds are very comfortable.
This hotel is also very conveniently located near the beach.
My only complaint is that my room smelled like smoke :/ Other than that, this is a good option if you're planning to stay in the Venice area.response / report this review -

Would have received 5 stars if they hadn't put me on a room right next to the loud street.. But the place is cool. Great location. I'd stay there again instead of going across the street to the Marriott.

The inn was nice and clean, but you have to pay for parking ($20/day) after you arrive. I would have preferred it if they had just included it in the room price! It gave me a (hopefully incorrect) sense that they were penny pinching. Other than the surprise parking fee though, the place was nice and the location was perfect for a surfing weekend.

This is my second time staying at the INN, and it is simply beautiful and comfortable. The staff is wonderful and helpful. The location is perfect as well. Lots of great coffee and food in the area. Beach is a couple blocks away. Just the best place to stay.

A very well staffed Hotel. The Innkeeper was very polite to me and my family. The room was very neat and tidy and had extra blankets which was nice. It's close to the beach and several restaurants (walking distance). It's also right next to the Venice canals which is cool. The only real drawbacks are that there is no pool, parking is $20 for 24 hour and the rooms are a little pricey.
