I had a great stay there. My first room was not to my liking on the main street. Woman at the counter was very helpful and moved me right away. Great location. Car ports are VERY small, if renting a car keep this in mind a smaller car is better in LA. Plenty of street parking for larger SUV"s. Thank You for a nice stay.

It's a nice economic hotel. The staff is gently. The rooms are clean. The bed is comfortable. The location is near most of the touristic points.

It's a good place for a night especially when a lot of concerts are in town. Ok bed. Great pillows. Service was great. The Location was good, lotta yuppie parents in the restaurants near.

Not a fancy hotel, but I have stayed here many times over the years and I come back. It is right across the street from CBS and The Grove. Outside entry, but free WiFi in room. Parking is not great, but I don't drive. No view, but great location.

I paid, with taxes, 100 per night. Totally worth it. I felt so safe, 2 entries & cameras at each, plus updated door locks, just hold card up to lock. Plus, covered parking.
The location is amazing! it is right across from cbs studios, which I went to Price is Right twice & no fighting or paying for parking.
There is a "store" directly across the street, which is an all health store & reasonably priced. i had $8 smoothies everyday, same as Smoothie King, but all raw & natural. Qrt of Almond milk, in TN, is roughly $3 & I paid $3.89, so for Ca, it is decent priced. The store has benches & nice area to see "stars," I seen Nicole Richie & Jared Leto. Maybe more, but I dont watch tv or movies.
I had room 207, which is upstairs & no elevator, but only 15-18 steps. The beds are older, but carpet is brand new, walked around in socks. Sheets clean & pillows were good.
Tv is new & has cable, but I rarely watched. The bathroom was kinda rough, but nothing to scare me. You could tell it had wallpaper at one time & had been stripped off bc some glue remained. Water pressure is good, but it takes 2 minutes for hot water to get started. Cups & ice machine (free), give shampoo & conditioner.
The shower curtain needed bleaching bc it had a couple mildew stains at the bottom. (But, if that bothers youstay a block away at 250+ per night, plus pay for parking!)
No alarm clock, but I got wake up calls, just incase I slept thru my phone alarm. Coffee & a few pasteries in small office arearesponse / report this review -

I just love this trendy hotel. Conveniently located in mid-town LA, the pod is walking distance from just about anything.The hotel is clean, Eco-friendly and the staff is friendly.There is an on-site cafe which serves up healthy meals if the need arises to snack on something. The fact that the restrooms are located outside of the room wasn't an issue. And to top it off our cab to the airport turned out to be a white stretch limo. I don't think this is a usual thing.We just happened to be in the right place at the right time.I guess we were having awesome luck that weekend.I will visit the Pod again
