I'm more partial to the Santa Monica view than the marina view. I find the city lights at night to be very therapeutic. It's a bit cheaper as well. Service, scene, locationall top notch for a Marriott.

I have not stayed here but spent some time in the public areas. This is a very nice hotel which is a short walk to Venice Beach. The complimentary cold cucumber water in the lobby and helipad make this a very welcoming hotel.

Perfect setting for a lazy weekend. Had a marina view which was so nice to look out on after a hectic week. Comfy bed, spacious suite. Walking distance to Venice Beach.

Pros: nice outdoor area with seating and fire pits. Nice bar area. Good location. View of the marina. Door to tiny balcony that you can actually step out onto for air. Nice TV.
Cons: needs renovation. Room had a mini fridge plugged in instead of a built in. Toilets are low. Hand bar in shower in an awkward location. Room decor tired.

Convenient location with great views of the city and ocean. Very good food options at the lobby restaurant and staff was friendly. My stay was as expected (nothing exceeding what I'd expect), hence the 4 stars, because I liked it, didn't love it. Very well decorated in the lobby and the room was comfortable, but nothing overly special.

Had a great stay here. Lobby and ambiance felt upscale. Rooms were comfortable and the service was excellent. There are limited room service options at 2am+ which is the only reason I'm giving a 4 star instead of 5

It's a nice hotel. There is lounge bar in a lobby which is very good, game room. Location is good, close to bar, restaurants, and good walk to the beach. Service was a bit strange. Valet did not want to help. Housekeeping was on and off.

I don't know how many stars, officially, this hotel has, but I'd give it 4.5. Beautiful hotel. Had a 10th floor roof-top wedding ceremony and the view of the bay was breathtaking. (They employ a visual trick of using a raised platform on a recessed floor along with some strategically planted pots, to make it appear as if there is no barrier/guard rail.)

We had a great experience. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Room service orders were delicious and speedy. Valet was quick. The staff even recognized that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary! The hotel is nicely designed and recently remodeled. The room was spacious and had a great view of Mother's Beach.

We stayed for our company annual meetings. Beautiful property and nice staff. Conveniently worked out across the street at MAC Beach Boot Camp for Corporate Team Building! Excellent too!

Beautiful property with friendly and helpful staff. Convenient to walk to Venice Beach. Bar and restaurant in lobby with an excellent burger. Concierge room not open on Saturday. Nice brunch on Sunday. Many restaurants in the area.

I stayed here for the first time for two nights on a business trip. The staff was friendly and welcoming and I had a room with the view of the marina. It was very close to everything that I needed and walking distance to Venice Beach and the Canals. They pillows were also super comfy, and a fine overall stay. They serve breakfast in the AM in the lobby (not free) and the server Brian at the bar was super helpful since I have a gluten intolerance and the hotel even had gluten free bread to have with my breakfast! I would definitely stay here again.
