I’m sharing this in hopes that none of y’all ever stay here or have the same thing happen to you. Friday morning, Jake Norman and I left his truck at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites DFW-Grapevine (where we paid $200/ night to stay) and took the shuttle to DFW airport . We parked in a well-lit area by the entrance. By Saturday evening, one of the employees was calling to let us know that 2 of the tires and wheels had been stolen off of his truck. We were told they had no security cameras and that most hotels don’t because “it creates a false sense of security”. We had to file a police report from Tennessee and spend the next 2 days on the phone with our insurance agency, rental car places, etc.
When we arrived at DFW airport this evening, we called to have the hotel shuttle come pick us up so we could get the rental car that our insurance arranged for us . After waiting with no show from the shuttle, we called the hotel to see where they were and we were told they had never left. Because of this, the rental car agency where we had our car arranged closed and we were temporarily stranded. (It ended up working out a couple hours later thanks to the only useful employee Clayton who helped us file the police report and came and picked us himself. )
We were not offered any refunds, extra points, a free room while we thought we were stranded in Dallas, NOTHING. We were even told that the owner of this hotel almost TOWED OUR VANDALIZED TRUCK AT OUR OWN EXPENSE because he was tired of getting questions from other hotel guests about why there was a truck sitting on cinder blocks at the hotel entrance.
I understand things happen that are out of our control, but I have never had such awful treatment/customer service (spare the one good employee) and I really hope y’all can PLEASE SHARE this with your loved ones so they never waste their hard earned money on this awful establishment. We hope as many people see this as possible so that our $500 deductible and $200 room (plus the loss of my good Christian nature) weren’t spent in vain.

Location is very close to the airport. The rooms were clean, well equipped and had nice amenities. Service was great, with fast internet.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel in July 2017. The front desk worker, Mary, lent me a phone charger as I was staying at the hotel due to a cancelled flight. They made every effort to make sure we had everything we needed while in a frustrating time. Mary made all the difference!
Clean rooms, clean bathrooms, nice lobby.

Convenient location by the airport with an outdoor pool. The food and entertainment nearby made it easy to enjoy the evening without heading into the city.

Great hotel, comfortable and we'll maintained. No inside bar, but borders multiple restaurants. Pool could be better, but is still nicer than a lot of locations.

Horrible. I only stay at holiday inn express and I am a ihg member. Way over priced as a matter of fact its the most expensive hotel in Odessa. Of course I learned the price after I checked in. The staff is inexperienced and not curtious at all. Acted like I was a burden. During check in the clerk stayed on the phone talking to someone other than me. I get multi tasking but c'mon. Very rude. My room stunk of body oder. Milk I got for breakfast expired 6 days ago. All in all not good.

Recently stayed at this location. Worked with Hannah in their corporate sales department to setup a rate for my employer as our office relocated near them.

Overall it was a great experience. The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Had a co-worker come with me that needed a room with notice. They were able to accommodate the request last minute and provided my corporate rate.

Rooms are clean and inviting. Breakfast area is large enough and was clean and well stocked. Staff I meet throughout my visit were friendly and provided great service.

Would recommend this location to others.
