Really nice hotel and staff. I will definitely stay again in the future. Bathrooms need to be updated. Was shocked to see a tub vs a walk in shower.
Well establishedsome might say a little dated albeit has fared well. Unlike its neighbor, the D/FW, its been well maintained and it shows. The drive up appeal as well as its massive atrium give the Hotel its out of town feeling even if you do live here. Its Mediterranean architecture shows it stands the test of time as it is difficult to tire of its homey feel. You won't be disappointed if you book sight unseen. Its still a desirable destination. 1-10 id give it a 8.
It was a very pleasant stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They took care of any special requests we put in (crib, toothbrush and toothpaste). Breakfast was above expectations; had everything you could ask for. The ambiance on the main floor was awesome, especially with the colorful fish in the water. I'd love to stay again!
Overall a good place to stay. But rooms are outdated and bathrooms are very small and outdated. Seems they could expand bathrooms to have a little more room with the suite layout. Staff is nice and attentive. Breakfast is great and Managers reception nightly is nice. Gym needs new equipment. Sports bar inside the hotel is ok. Menu and food could use a makeover. Never eaten at the restaurant.
Pretty good hotel. The hotel shows some sign of its age. Older rooms, lights on elevator don't turn on, etc. Good spread of food for breakfast, but it can get super crowded at points. The rooms are sized well, pillows comfortable, bathroom a tad small. Everything was clean. Overall a positive stay
Older facility that more than makes up for it in friendliness and hospitality. Wonderful free breakfast and evening snacks. Kids loved the pool. Staff has been great at taking care of each and every request. Beautiful gazebo and courtyard inside. Hotel has began renovating which should help with the dated rooms and furniture.
This hotel is on the south side of DFW, and very convenient to rental cars and the terminal. Most restaurants will require transportation. The property is somewhat dated but clean and in good repair. Rooms are spacious the bedding is high quality. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is good but not as nice as some other hotels in the chain.
This is one of the best experiences I have had at a Hilton chain. We ran in to weather while flying, having our flight cancelled. The hotel booked a room, came to the airport to pick us up, gave us bathroom supplies (since we didn't have luggage), provided extra blankets/pillows for the kids, and even gave my wife and I drink vouchers so we could relax after the stressful travel experience. Breakfast was great in the morning, plus they drove us back to the airport. They have fantastic staff. This hotel is awesome.
Suite was aging and the carpet / couches were a little worn. Room size however was pretty large with a separate "living room". Balcony door did not open and was falling off the rails. Staff was however excellent.
I did not pay for this room, it was provided to me because of a canceled flight and I didn't spend much time there at all. Because of that, I cant complain. However If I spent my hard earned money on this room I would have been disappointed.
Hard location to get to if coming off a service road, but the hotel itself does stick out fairly well. Rooms were very large consisting of the bedroom, bathroom and an additional connecting room that could be considered the living room. Room service was fantastic and very thorough while being quick. All problems with room had been addressed quick as well. Breakfast service was phenomenal also considering the large amount of people being served. Overall, a very nice stay and good recommendation if you can look beyond the confusing Texas highways and side roads.
While it is a slightly aging hotel, it is comfortable and well kept. What I wanted to comment on though is the staff! I travel weekly and can tell you that I have not come across such a genuine, kind and helpful staff. They are remarkable! You can tell that this is a well managed hotel and someone reall knows what to look for! I could go on and on about individuals like the concierge, the restaurant manager/host at breakfast, the event manager and the driver but really everyone was fantastic. I woke up for a tough day and everyone there had me feeling cared for! I highly recommend just for this alone, especially if you're travel weary- it makes a difference!
Standard awesome experience like every Embassy Suites there is! The cook to order hot breakfast alone makes this place stand out. Noticed the hot tub is always running instead of a timer. It's things like that where they think of the customer first that always make guest happy. You don't feel like they are running a business. You feel like they are only focused on the experience.
This property has some nice aspects to it, but the primary purpose of a hotel is somewhere to sleep. I barely got any sleep. Between being on the approach to DFW airport and beside major highways, the ambient noise was intolerable. Good things about the hotel were the free breakfast (probably the best free breakfast I've ever had at any hotel), and the atrium was lovely. The service and food at the attached restaurant was great. The rooms are on the small side, with the bathroom being incredibly tiny. The decor and fixtures seem dated, but fortunately not overly worn.
