Would not stay here again. Room was dark and bleak. Bathroom has fixtures that didn't work. It even lacked a holder for the toilet paper. Elevator didn't work. Entrance and lobby were a total mess. Breakfast was gritty from the filth. Indifferent room cleaning.
I was told I would get a discount by the fellow that checked me in on Monday night as well as extra "points" - predictably, neither happened.
If you're asking, I would recommend any other hotel in this area. Wish I could award zero stars.
Was under construction during visit. Staff was very polite. Amenities were lacking
The hotel was undergoing some renovations while myself and my coworker stayed here, we had a very pleasant stay for the night. The staff was courteous and the accommodations were nice. I would definitely stay here again.
I stayed at this hotel ovee the weekend. Really sucky hotel. Fire alarms went off at 2:00 am. Water was coming out of the fire alarm and light sockets. The desk clerk was very rude. She wouldn't help me. So i drove 6 hour drive home. I will never stay at this hotel again.
We stayed in 302 and we found BEDBUGS on some of our bags on the way home
The fire alarm went off at 1 am and was on until we decided that we were leaving around 1:45. We had a few people and they were trying to move us to a single king sizes room. They had terrible service both day and night; day was just completely rude and night shift just let the fire alarm ring and didn't try to shut it off because "she didn't hear it"
Absolutely the worst hotel stay
They were under renovation but did not post it on web page. Rooms were dusty from the construction, everything was dirty, old, and In bad condition even in the places already finished. Management was smug abd unhelpful when we brought it up to them. Canceled and stayed somewhere else
If this hotel were any other place besides Addison it would be a $29 a night crack house.
It's currently under renovation (Oct 2017) but no matter how much you polish a turd, it's still a turd.
The mattresses are worn out. The head boards are greasy. Cigarette burns in the bed covers. Every stich of furniture was well worn. The floors are warped and creaky.
Save your money and go elsewhere!
IHG needs to revoke this franchise.
A good place to stay. I have been attending monthly for the last two years. It's been rather pleasant. The management and customer service is friendly, the staff is helpful, and overall everything has been good. Staff has frequent turnovers it appears, but they are all good and helpful individuals.
Earlier this year they had construction, which caused water to leak into my bathroom from upstairs and onto the toilet. After talking with the front desk, they were able to move me to another room. Thankfully the construction has recently ended and the newly renovated fourth floor is quite nice. The hotel overall is clean, well maintained, and in every room I've been in, all things have been in working order. There is little to complain about, though the WIFI has frequent outtages and the walls may be a little thin.
However, their rates have become more and more erratic as of late. They go up and down quite a bit, as all hotels do, but over three years I've noticed my average cost move from around 80 a night to 95 a night, bordering on 100. A $15 dollar difference, which, while doesn't seem bad, adds up if you're staying multiple nights as I do. Most recently the standard rate offered me was 103, which is simply too steep for several nights, when you can stay at the high quality Hilton next door for roughly the same amount.
On top of this, I no longer seem to have access to government or veteran discounts, which appear to have all been discontinued.
I've had a good run at this hotel, and I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a nice place to stay. However, there are multiple options in the Addison area which you could look into for more affordable rates.
Nice clean quiet hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Our stay was fine. The hotel is mid-renovation so part of our room was brand new and part was older, which was interesting. The smell was not the greatest. Breakfast was fine. Overall an ok stay at a great price.
Nice place. Currently undergoing renovation which it needs. It's quite and clean. I'll give it 5 stars for what it is, it's not a 5 star hotel but who needs that for a one night stay.
No smoking throughout the hotel means this place smells wonderful. Complimented by cookies and the intercontinental breakfast, the comfy beds give a good nights sleep and something to look forward to in the morning. This was my 2nd time staying here and I plan to return again.
