My family and I had a wonderful experience here. We tend to travel quite a bit and we don't always have the best experience with hotels. But this place was quite nice.

Overall my experience was nice at this hotel. I enjoyed the room and the breakfast. I gave it 4 stars because there was a mix up with room service. It was already a issue on booking of the room so we got breakfast vouchers thinking that if we ordered room service we wouldn't be charged. Ordered room service breakfast and was charged $15! Didn't even warm up the food they threw it on the plate. Other than that I would rate it 5 stars. Not sure I will be staying here again.

Worst stay at Hilton ever. Service was poor - front desk was unable to answer questions clearly and weren’t very helpful. I kept having to check in with them to find out answers.
We also had a horrible night with the fire department coming - woke us up at 2AM and couldn’t get back into our room for at least an hour. This wasn’t due to any fire or accident - it was their own water pipe issue. There was a lack of communication throughout the whole debacle.
If this place is supposed to be a high quality hotel they certainly didn’t exemplify it. I would never recommend this place nor would I ever give it my money again.response / report this review -

For a 4 star property, I feel I am very lenient in offering a 3 star rating. The property location is beautiful, the lake is gorgeous, but the decor is 1970's. We also had problems with housekeeping taking all of our towels and not replenishing them. Front desk was on it and got a set of towels up promptly.
The AC in our room would not maintain the correct temperature. We even had engineering come to fix it and it didn't last. The temperature would increase at night and I would wake up to 75 degrees or hotter in the middle of the night.
Also, housekeeping left our door ajar all day long while we were out. My laptop and my wife's jewelry was left in the room, luckily nothing was missing. Just frustrating that our room would be left open all day.
The last complaint I have is that the pool towels were soaking wet. Yes, it rained during the night, but all day was nice and when we decided to go spend sometime in the hot tub and watch the sunset, the pool towels were still ring out wet. I don't understand this lack of customer service.
Very surprised that a nice property would lack such basic customer service. Hopefully it will be better next time.response / report this review -

Another amazing stay at Hilton Rockwall! The room was clean and updated. The views at the property are amazing. This was my second stay and will be back again when doing business in Dallas! Highly recommended!

Very nice, hot coffee, hot shower, good bed and pillows. TV goes off by its self, if you sleep better with it on you'll have to wake up off and on to make sure it stays on. But all in all great stay.

Excellent view of Lake Rockwell, though a bit far from Dallas proper. The hotel property was nice, though the main elevator was down and we had to use to service elevator. Room service was prompt, and the food was excellent.

Had the absolute best customer service we have ever received here! We blocked rooms here for our guests at our wedding. Daniel at the front desk as well as the manager helped us get everything figured out and made sure everything went as smooth as possible. Accidentally tipped our bell hop $200 which he immediately turned in to the front desk. Not something we expected to get back, but the staff was all fabulous! Bartenders were great. House keeping staff was very friendly as well. Can't wait to go back when we have a little more time to relax.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff we encountered was very friendly! The room was clean and quiet. We only stayed one night, so did not get to experience everything the hotel has to offer. We had breakfast at the restaurant, which was very good. The pool looked beautiful and you can't beat the view of the lake!

Was in town for my nephew's graduation. The hotel staff we interacted with were very friendly and professional. The room was very clean. The bed a welcome comfort. The breakfast buffet was decent but overpriced. Had we not had a voucher, it would've been just over $45. Again, it was good but no where near $45 good.

The night staff were very accommodating and kind. They allowed for the parking of my big rig, and even slipped a very touching and personal note for my family along with breakfast vouchers. It was a very pleasant and uncommon personal touch that isnt always present in the hospitality industry. Thank you all for the great experience! #CureForDillinger #CureJDM

Amazing view of lake and a long shot of downtown Dallas. Excellent retail stores very nearby and a nice old town experience a few miles away. Hotel staff and rooms are top notch.
