It is a very small and cramped hotel. The rooms are only good for a bed, shower and toilet. Front desk people were nice but all of the guests were very rude. Breakfast was fine but nothing to write home about. Didn't even eat it the second or third day. The elevators are always busy so good luck with that. The walls are also paper thin so we heard our neighbors kid screaming the whole night. Overall, not a good experience but it got the job done and we were only there to sleep. That being said, we will not be staying here again.

The fitted sheet didn't fit the mattress and kept popping off, the heating shot up randomly during the night. Front desk service was however very gracious and offered recompense. Usually love Hampton Inns/ Hiltons

The rooms were very small compared to hotel rooms I've stayed at previously. The closet was about the size of a refrigerator and there was no mini dorm fridge like most hotels have. Everything about the room itself was pleasant, the bed was comfortable, room service showed every day and refreshed everything. Minor details: they were repainting the lower portions of the walls, so the molding was pulled back and left taped back and the elevators were rather slow. The breakfast room was kind of small for the amount of rooms and people that the hotel could hold.

Checked in to a room on the 20th floor, but when I got there they had bumped me to a lower floor. Elevators are very slow. Usually wait 5 minutes, and then they fill to capacity every time. Breakfast is good, although crowded and the people make it worse, but the employees work nonstop. We were there three nights and the last night the elevators were broken. After climbing 18 floors we discovered a pipe had burst in our floor and everything in our bathroom and on our floor of the room was ruined. I'm not really blaming them for the accident, but they didn't call me to let me know, and they only comped me one night out of the three.

Excellent Hotel - clean and affordable! We stayed 5 days, and this hotel met our expectations. Complimentary breakfast, good coffee (with flavored creamers), a nice patio area with tables and chairs in which to sit out, ppl watch and smoke (if you're a smoker, you can appreciate this!). It is located within a few short blocks to Time Square and the Empire State Building. Our room was small but cozy and clean. The bed was very comfortable. No bedbugs we saw (we set out traps and take every precautionary measure). The hotel staff was friendly and helpful with information and planning routes. All in all, I'd highly recommend staying here when visiting NYC!

Location was fantastic on West 35th St right between Broadway and 5th Ave. The Empire State building is right around the corner (literally!) and Broadway and Times square are only a hop, skip and a jump away. Almost anything you could want to do in Manhattan is walkable. The rooms are a bit tight but they make the most out of the tight space there is. The set up is as efficient as it could be, and the room was cozy and clean, the pillows and duvet were supremely comfortable and the maid did up the room very well while we were out during the day. The breakfast had anything you could want in a continental breakfast. They had every flavor of juice and the menu varied on both days. There was always a hot egg dish, a meat dish and a side along with cold cereals, oatmeal, yogurt and fruit. The cookies that are complimentary every evening are TO DIE FOR and are not to be missed. This hotel also had a nice garden terrace and friendly staff. The only thing I think that could be better is that there are only two elevators for 20 floors. This makes for a verrrry lengthy wait time and every time the elevator came to me (we stayed on the 5th floor) it was always jam packed. I would still highly recommend this hotel to anybody who'd like to be close to all Manhattan has to offer.

Staff was friendly. They held our bags for us before check in and after. Breakfast was sub-par. Very basic breakfast and didn't taste good. Overall rooms and bathrooms are outdated. Beds and pillows were comfortable. We has mold in the bathroom and a piece of metal sticking out of the bed. We told the front desk about this on on 2nd of 3 days and there is no evidence they tried to do anything about it while we were out that day. My advice is spend the extra $30 a night and stay somewhere else!

Passport stolen from hotel safe. I am a UN staff who stayed 6 nights at the Hampton Inn in Manhattan. My 2 passports were stolen from the
safe of room 304 of the hotel. When I noticed that the safe was open and
that my passports were gone, I immediately brought it to the attention
of the reception desk. I was taken aback by hotel staff's reaction :
'This is not possible. You must have misplaced your passport or lost
it somewhere.' I also found a lack of interest, diligence and care
by the staff for this serious situation, which was treated with the same
or even less attention as the person next to me asking for a plastic
spoon or for complementary cookies. I insisted that the police be
called, and the police made an incident report. When questioned by the
police, the hotel staff repeated that it was simply not possible that
the passport was stolen from the safe. I was supposed to fly back to
Europe the day after (on Saturday) but was not allowed to board without
passport. I had to stay several days longer in New York, missing
important work commitments, having to get a new passport and incurring
significant expenses. My written complaint received no response. A Hampton Inn nightmare

Great location that makes mid-town walkable. Rooms are tiny. No view. Slow elevators. Decent breakfast. Small gym. Friendly staff. Use the app to check in or you'll probably wait more than a few minutes. No parking, but nearby is $47-50 per night.

Enjoyed a double bed room slightly larger than a shoebox, but that's NY for you. Clean and tidy plus decent hot breakfast is hard to beat. Location wise was perfect with accessibility to Penn station and Time Sq will defintely stay here again

I enjoyed our trip to NYC but the hotel was very small. The rooms are small and barely can accommodate two people. No stow away for luggage and no space for movement. Its not worth the price. Breakfast was average but they have friendly and courteous staff.

Stayed here in November, Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Staff were very good and the hotel was excellent. There is a free hot buffet breakfast from 6am and hot drinks throughout the day. You can find a coffee machine in your room. They even provided a packed breakfast as we had an early flight to catch from JFK. Great location with Macy's and the Manhattan Mall a short walk away and major subway routes literally under your feet! We shall be booking here again for next November.

Great experience! I brought a group of 21 high school students, and the hotel worked with us extremely well. The hotel is centrally located among all that we were doing; the subway is literally steps away from the hotel's entrance! The hot breakfast was good and plentiful.

Very nice and cozy hotel in the middle of the city. Close to everything you need. The receptionist was friendly, the room very clean and looked new with a nice warm ambience. Nice bathroom. The breakfast area is also very nicely arranged with tasty sweets and hot drinks. A good place to rest well and comfortably. Satisfied.
