Small sized hotel with shared bathrooms and shower rooms, but with high price, not a good wise choice if you can find a better one!

Decent place. Not bad for the price for the area it's in

Dan Bell should feature this on ADR.
Only book this room if you're a 19 year old drunk white kid throwing a pizza party in your room.

First negative: as far as we could tell, there is one bathroom per floor. We could hear someone barfing.

The only positive thing about this place is the woman at the front desk. Before we paid for the room, she offered to let us see it.
The room was literally smaller than a Janitor's closet, with a bunk bed inside.
When she opened the door, she almost hit the bed with the door. Dead serious.
The mattresses on the bunk bed were too small, since I'm 6'3".
The bunk bed mattress had a bunch of strange hair on them.

You could hear the loud pizza party from the closet sized room.
I can't imagine having to share a bathroom with the drunk kids staying in all the rooms.

The stairs are steep and cramped.

A huge, huge thank you to the woman that showed us around before charging us.
    She is a saint.

    The positives:

This hotel honestly would've been fun when I was really young. The decor is "college dorm" and unfortunately so is everything else.

The room was alot smaller than I thought it would be and the TV had to be fixed twice for it to work. It was my first time in New York so I wasn't used to having a public restroom on the floor. Other than that, it was quiet and the employees were very friendly and helpful.

Very basic, not the cleanest rooms but friendly and helpful staff and great location. You get what you pay for. Beds are very comfortable too

Staff were really friendly and the room was exactly what I thought I'd get for the price.
Great location, easy walk to Times Square, plenty of places to eat and drink near by.
    I'd stay here again

I enjoyed the uniqueness of this place so much. The room was great, very spacious and sleeps a lot of people. One of my most favorable places.

Nicely decorated hotel in pop theme. Rooms are nice but ours wasn't very clean (not that it was a big issue). WiFi is good and the location is excellent as well (close to a metro station and close to times Square and Madison Square)

Amazing location, close to everything you need! Staff was very friendly and upgraded my room upon check in because the hotel was having all their carpets being cleaned and my original wasn't done yet. First floor 24 hour deli and convenience store with very nice staff as well. Liquor store right across the street. Located in Chelsea between Hell's Kitchen and West Village. Definitely coming back, front desk also offered us free pizza!

The location was fine. But the room was filthy. The carpet, the bathrooms, and even the sheets were dirty. Will not stay here again

Do not waste your money. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. This is more of a HOSTEL, than a HOTEL. There are no pictures of the bathrooms on their site, which is completely misleading. The bathrooms are disgusting, shared, and I got locked in for a good twenty minutes because the door knob was broken. You also have to wait a while for hot water. There are no elevators, so plan on carrying everything through very long flight of stairs. The first day that I arrived, my room wasn’t ready and the lady at the front desk kept barging in other people’s rooms because she wasn’t sure which room was available or not. How is that any privacy!? When I finally got my room there were bodily fluids on my pillow. How is this sanitary? My TV also didn’t work.

They say they provide room service, but they never changed my trash. I reminded them every day for clean towels. They CHARGE $10 if you want your bed sheets changed, AND they CHARGE $25 if you’re caught with food in your room. How is that a hotel?

To top it all off, I had trouble sleeping because the HOTEL STAFF, the man working at the front desk was on speaker phone and I could hear his convo. I would expect noise from other guest, but definitely not from the staff. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. All the staff that work the night shifts, brings their friends over, talks on the phone, and takes long breaks. Don’t expect any kind of service at night.

The staff were sweet and accommodating, great location and hotel is pretty cute. Although, they do need to improve on the cleanliness in the bathrooms. It's kind of gross. But as long as u clean stuff before u use it, it's not that bad I guess.
With that being said, I would still stay there again.

This was 110% the most unhygienic hotel experience you could imagine. Upon entering my room, pillow cases/sheets were clearly stained, the carpet and walls were filthy, the bathroom looked like it was 100 years old- far too many things to list off. Literally anywhere you looked was not properly cleaned or even cleaned at all. Basically a dive, run-down, poor excuse of a hotel, to say the absolute least. ***Not to mention a mouse ran clear past me in my room***, which led me to check out immediately. Who knows what vermin diseases are embedded there. *Highly* do not recommend this overly-charged box of hell that doesn't even deserve a single star. Don't feed money into this place so that this eyesore can just be demolished. Of course I'm bitter.
