I love it the staff waa very nice the free breakfast is good and the artwork on the walls are beautiful
This was a delightful B&B on the border between Chelsey and the Meat Packing district. I loved the movie poster charm, including the 70s era advertisements for Blackglama (mink coats) featuring divas of the era. It's all stairs, so look at the room types for how much exercise you'll be getting; it'll say what floors it's on; I found the 4th floor quite accessible, even with repeated trips back to the room. There's a small glass-enclosed dining area for breakfast to enjoy a little NY sky before heading out into your day. Would book again.
Cute room. Walk up with no elevator. Small shower with low water pressure. Great location, close to the A train station. Overall I would stay again.
Staff was very friendly. Hotel was clean, conveniently located, and we loved the atmosphere. Overall, we were very pleased with everything. The only drawback that I could find was because of the age of the building, the AC didn't quite keep up. We would absolutely stay here again, and would recommend it to others as well.
Amazing, what a super place. So central to Chelsea. This is my new favourite place to stay in New York.
This is a very fun hotel. All the rooms are movie star themed as in each room is decorated with the movie posters of a different star. The rooms are very clean and cozy. The little dining area in the lobby is awesome and always has great snacks and beverages out. There's also a self serve cappuccino machine that makes great espresso. The staff put our luggage in the room while we explored Manhattan. So many things to like about this little hotel. The only thing that could be considered bad is that the hotel has no elevator and has five floors. Therefore it's a bit of a small workout if your room is on the fifth floor and you or constantly going back and forth to the desk, dinning area, and out to the city. Who are we kidding though, you should not be in your room, you should be out exploring the city.
Small hotel with cinema themed rooms. Very comfortable room and bed. Very friendly staff. Full set of ammenities. The only down side is the lack of elevators.
It's hard not to like this place, with the vintage film posters covering all the walls, the friendly welcome from staff, and the convenient central location. The room at the back of the hotel was very quiet and the bed was comfortable, so I slept well. The selection for breakfast was pretty good. There is a subway stop two seconds away so it's really easy to get from here to wherever you want in New York.
The only downsides were the aircon being quite loud - I had to make a choice whether I wanted to be hot at night or put up with the noise - and there is no lift, so be prepared for a lot of stairs. Which can be tiring after a long day of walking around Manhattan!
My girlfriends and I had such a great stay at the Chelsea Pines Inn. The rooms were very clean and updated. The staff treated us like family and were so accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel.
This is my 2nd visit here - basic but clean. Not for older people as there is no elevator. You should go somewhere else for breakfast. Maid service was excellent and very friendly. Tai the receptionist was welcoming and very helpful. Sean could be more customer friendly. Overall, very good value for money. I will be back.
I stayed there with my 7-year-old daughter for one night for work. The building must have been an apartment building as our room has something like an entrance to an apartment. Very interesting as if we were visiting a friend's homeSpacious and very clean
