Went in to have a tire plugged. Talked with the service man "Juan" which informed me immediently upon looking at tire that it needs to be replaced. Even though the tire had at least 35% tread left. I told him that I didn't want the tire replaced just plugged for the time being. He took the van into the shop and started to plug the tire. After about 10 minutes in the shop Juan informed me that the tpms on the tire was leaking air and would need to be replaced. I told him all I wanted was the tire to be plugged due to it never leaking air in the past. He proceeded to plug the tire. After finishing up, I asked him to show me where the tire pressure monitor was leaking so I could search for leaks. Turns out, tire was never leaking from the monitor and Juan was just trying to upsell multiple times. I have bought over 4 sets of tires from here but you can bet I won't do business here anymore.

Very friendly staff & efficient. My 1st visit here. Found a screw in my tire. They fixed the problem within minutes. No charge & I was on my way. I'll keep them in mind definitely when it comes to my tire needs. Free air too, if I'm not mistaken. Considering most places are charging 75¢ & up for air. Great job Discount Tires!☺

Good prices, good service. I brought in a new car, and bought their lifetime balancing for the tires that came with it. I've had several sets of tires from this or other Discount Tire stores over the years.

Great experience every time I go to this place!
Juan and the rest of the team always find a way to match any price out there and back it up with very good service.
Unlike other places I've been in the past, they seem to be focused on my needs, and follow thru the end.
For example, after driving on new performance tires for 2 months and 2K miles later, I realized than when engaging my car in Sports mode, the tires slightly rub on the inside while taking fast turns.
No problem, got the same tires in new sizes mounted on different rims for basically just mounting costs.

Love this place. Have always had excellent service & prices from every discount tire but most from my visit in Winston Salem. Manager Matt was very helpful & was clearly just as good to his employees as he was me. This will always be my go-to place for tires & the one I suggest in that area!!!!
