I bought a Ford F-350 from this dealership. DO NOT TRUST those people. They have ZERO integrity. They will look you straight in the eye and lie to your face to make a sale. PERIOD.
They gave me a good line (lie) over the phone. I drove 3 hours to get to the dealership. They knew I was coming. They put the truck out on the grass — tricky move on their part. I thought it was strange. It was raining. I didn’t feel crawling underneath it —my fault—they got me. They had it warmed up so I didn’t notice the bad injectors ( until after I baught it). I asked if it had any rust. They said no. I didn’t suspect any since we were in NC. I believed them. After I bought the truck I learned that they got the freaking thing in Pennsylvania where it spent its whole life —a total rust bucket. I have had to replaced all the break lines, rear end (because of the rust all the oil drained out the cover), the break calipers, and lost $6,000 the second I baught it just because it is so rusted out. Never again.
I will never go here again. I drove about sixty miles to look at a used motorcycle they had on their website. I called about the bike before I drove there, salesman said the bike is here and really nice. When I get there the bike is gone, I ask someone about it they tell me they sent it to auction earlier in the week. So I start looking at a new bike MSRP 5299. I get price quote with tags and everything for nearly 7000. That's 1700 in tax, tags, and destination charge, seems pretty outrageous. I get price quote for same bike at another dealership it is 6097. So if u like to overpay and get terrible service then this the place to go.
Called and waited 5 minutes three times before I finally got a service guy on the phone. He was rude as hell and wanted to charge $30 to put a dirt bike tire on the rim. For that kind of money I'll buy my own tire changing station and wont need this place for anything ever again.
Tons of inventory, motorcycles, atv, side by side. So many to choose from. If you have not seen it, you should. This is a nice well stocked, buy, sell, trade
maintenance, motorcycle shop.
If there was a way to give zero stars that's what my rating would be. Please don't go spend your hard earned money at this piece of a place (because I wouldn't dare call it a business). I arrived around 10am and was greeted by a salesman who informed me that I could look around but he wasn't able to help me any further because the guy who handled finances had went to the home office and would be returning in 30mins (it took him 2hrs before he returned). Once the finance guy (Jeremy) returned he walked in and didn't even acknowledge us, we waited another hour on Jeremy to do a simple credit check. Two weeks after purchasing the vehicle from the not friendly finance guy, I called my credit union to see if Kevin Powell had paid off the previous loan on the car I traded in I informed that they hadn't received a payoff check (mind you it was a 10day pay off amount). I called Jeremy about 3 times and left voicemails he never returned my calls, finally on call number 5 he answered and in a very sarcastic way said how can I help you TL, he went on to lie and say he needed to call his home office to find out what was going on and would call me back. The call back never happened, I called him back and he lied again and told me he had spoken with the home office and they informed him that they had 30days to pay off my previous loan I then expressed my concern about how that information was not given at the time of purchase because if it had I would have never agreed (because with them taking 30days to pay off my loan put me in a position where I had to make a car payment on a car I no longer had) I asked for the number to the home office and he told me he wasn't able to give that information out. Fast forward 33 days after my purchase and I am riding around with expired 30 day paper tags because once again I was lied to, I called to inquire about my tags 4 days before the 30 day tags expired and was told I would receive my tags soon. Tags never came so I called back the day before the tags expired to let him know I still hadn't received the tags and was told another lie that they would arrive any day, so we called Raleigh to find out what was going on and was told Kevin Powell had just went to file for the tags the day before (which was the day the tags expired). The next day I called Kevin Powell back and was told by Jeremy he would over night the tags, two days have passed and surprise I still haven't received my tags!!!! Please don't waste your time or money at this place!
Don't waste your time going to Kevin Powell Motorsports, spent most of the day from 1:45pm until 5, waiting to see if we were approved for a loan to get a dirt bike. We was told it would only take 30 mins at the most to find out. Well if that wasn't a JOKE! At 5 they started calling the bank but guess what the bank wouldn't answer cause they where closed they also proceeded to tell us that if the loan goes through we would have to drive down to the bank and sign the documents. This place is by far the most unorganized place ever. Left with an upset child who was so excited about getting a dirt bike but that didn't happen. Will NEVER go back. If I could rate zero stars that's what my rating would be.
Very friendly & nice. No wait time when I was there. I got greeted @ the door. Gave me a warm welcome n the middle of summer. 😉
I don't even want to give this place 1 star. This place is a joke. Bought a brand new 2016 kawasaki Mule pro dx. Didn't have it but a few days and it started leaking oil. Took it back to them and they acted like they didn't even want to work on it. They kept it for over a week and called me and told me they ran it and it did not have an oil leak. Brought it back home and changed oil. Ran it for about a week and it leaked all my oil back oil. Called them back and they acted like it was something we are doing.
Don't waste your time!! The commercials are bull! Wasted entire morning and they gave out personal info without permission
Have visited KPM multiple times within the past couple months! Couldn't ask for a better experience. Amanda was the sales person for most of my visits, she was very helpful, and went above and beyond to help me with my purchases and to help me get approved, along with the help of Matt who was also a tremendous help! Buying anything new is stressful, but with these guys help I felt at ease and they made me feel right at home, what should have been a stressful experience went by with out any issues and I couldn't be happier! I will definitely be back! Would recommend Kevin Powell to anyone in the market! Go see Amanda or Matt, I promise you will NOT be disappointed!
Scam artist! they are not honest with bikes or the financial process. Crooked deals, and very shady business practices. Please take your hard earned money to a reputable dealer. There is a reason its called CRAZY Kevin Powell . The crazy part is how these people are not in jail.
Everything they advertise on the radio about paying more for your trade is bullshit. I had good credit and make good money. They said I owe more then my car is worth but when I asked them how much my car value for he couldn't even give me a straight answer. Made a hours trip for nothing. Don't waste your time at this place
Been here multiple times for parts and service and always had great knowledgeable staff and would give them 5 stars. However looked into buying my daughter a pw50 which was tagged on the showroom for $1449, and that's when things went south. They tried to get us for another $1500 over retail with fees, bringing the total to $2900. We said no thanks and walked out. Ended up buying a used one on Craigslist, but could have went to Honda of Winston Salem and got a crf50 priced the same for less then $2k out the door. DO NOT buy from here this place is a joke and will take your money!
