Had a great time there, staff was amazing. Room was so comfy I hated to leave. Plenty of parking. Lots of places to eat in the area including a grocery store.

I am a business traveler so price is always important. This hotel is dated but under construction. The updates did not interfere with my stay. After a long day of travel with delayed flights I was glad to finally arrive. I used google map directions and was sent into the middle of Meyers grocery store. Let me also say in the middle of a snow storm! Needless to say I called the hotel and they put me me in the right direction. So if you end up there just call they will give you directions. It’s a hop skip and a jump from there. Because of the storm I stopped into Meyers to get some groceries only to be surprised by dinner being served at the hotel. It was a modest Shepherds Pie but it was food and I don’t have to drive! I always say it’s the people not the place and the “people” here are top notch!

Good, no frills, basic hotel. Has an average breakfast bar. Convenient off I-96 but it is bit squirrely to get to (have to practically drive through a supermarket parking lot to get to it.

Comfortable beds, not noisy but could tell walls were thin. Tv didn't work out that's likely on me couldn't get it off vudeo 2. Decent breakfast, has pool didn't use. Overall good

This hotel seems to be well run and managed. Things look clean and taken care of. It is one of the better Country Inns I've stayed at. Staff was very professional.

This hotel was super clean and comfy. I would definitely stay here again. A bit pricey, but worth it. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Just thinking about it makes me want to go back! There are also free cookies in the front lounge, as well as complimentary coffee, tea and (tap) filtered lemon water. There are two smoking sections outside and they are both clean and pleasant.

Room was clean. Free cookies and coffee/tea was nice. The pool however is over chlorinated. After less than half and hour my kids eyes were burning and they were gasping for air. No they did not drink the pool for all those wondering. I did not enter the pool yet had the same symptoms from just sitting poolside watching them. Found the hotel to be quite nosey I am hoping it's quite for sleeping later this evening. Our television had 2 lines of dead pixels so no matter what channel you watched there was 2 lines running up and down the screen.

Nice room with comfy beds. If you're a smoker, there is a nice, covered, porch styled area designated as the "Smoking Area". Friendly staff, but the indoor common areas are stuffy with no air circulation.

Nice hotel on the outskirts of the Grand Rapids area. Convenient to the airport and nearby shopping. It's a long walk through expansive parking lots to get to stores. Pretty simple standard rooms. Nice hot breakfast. Indoor pool and hot tub. Kind staff.

The hotel layout is fine and the layout of the rooms is great. The decor, however, is dated, worn and needs replacement and updating. The plating on the faucets is coming off and despite rust free city water there are rust stains. The sleeper couch looks like it's from the 60's but the bed is ok. The regular bed is very comfortable and the rest of the furniture is functional and looks fine The cookies and beverage service in the lobby is good. The breakfast is average at best. The waffles came out under cooked everytime and the plastic eggs were warm. Good selection of cereal and yogurt though and a very good selection of teas helps. In short, I might stay here again - but I might not. There is lots of local competition and at the moment there are better choices right across the street.

No longer a good Silver Elite experience for a Club Carlson Member. No more great welcome anymore. No more goodie bag unless you ask. And even then I got a tiny bag of Cheetos and a small bag of M &M's. Not even a bottle of water any more. Has gone down hill big time in the last few, maybe 6, months. It is clean though.
