I have stayed here a couple of times. I can always expect a great service with a clean room. The fitness room is just ok.

Overall great experience. The rooms were clean and modern. The bed was very comfortable and had two types of pillows, firm or soft. We stayed on a busy Saturday and the hotel was very quiet. There are several places nearby to eat and drink. The hotel is off the main road which is nice because there is less traffic.

My daughter was married on July 29th and all of the guests were from out of town and state. We had rooms reserved all over grand rapids. I made a reservation for two members of my family at the holiday inn north. I came in on Friday to the 28th to just confirm that my reservation was could be put under my brothers names since I would be with my daughter the next day. Holly was wonderful and took care of it for me. I also dropped off the gift bag for one brother but had forgotten the other one. I returned on Saturday morning with the labeled gift bag and doubled checked that everything was set. The gift bags contained the shuttle information for the day. Today I received a phone call from my brother saying that his credit card had been charged for the room. I called the hotel to see what had happened. They said that they had not split the payment and had put a credit on my card. There has been no credit to my card. In order for my brother to get his credit, they needed to charge my credit card again. I gave them my card information so that my brother would get his credit, I am trusting that the credit will be put on my card and not just another 200.00 charge. I also found out today that neither of my family members were giving the gift bags that were left for them. I also found out that they had to drive to the venue because the did not get their shuttle information. I would not recommend this venue for guests that are having any sort of wedding or anything that requires the front guest to assist with your guests. We did not have a single problem with any other hotel in the area.

Generous accomodations, somehow quiet environment despite nearby busy roads, friendly and helpful staff, cleanly, great experience all around. You'll get your moneys worth. Will consider in the future.

Outstanding service! My wife and I were in town for a wedding, which started at 2. Check in timecwas/is 3. I called the night before and asked if it would be possible to check in earlier. I was advised to call the next morning. Did as instructed and we were able to check in early with out problem! Excellent location and many dining options available. Top notch breakfast in the morning as well.

Helpful staff, clean room, and hot coffee. Breakfast offerings were standard fare. The hotel location is off the beaten path. Lyft drivers were available at this location.

Stayed here many times. Nice friendly staff always willing to help out with directions or recommendations. Breakfast is typical holiday inn express but nice. Rooms are spacious and cleaning staff does a great job.

Nice quiet area for a hotel but excellent because shops a movie theatre and restaurants not too too far away. (Walkable if you like a good walk) Hotel was clean and the room very comfortable. Internet was very fast and easy to connect to. Nice selection of breakfast items for such a small hotel and the lady who manages restocking the buffet in the mornings was a sweetheart. The front desk staff was courteous and quick upon check in and offered an express check out option. The only reason I gave four stars is the walls are a little thin and I was unfortunate enough to have a couple fighting next door of course not the hotels fault but I like to write a full review. Thank you for having a designated smoking area with a bench. I would recommend this hotel for a nice comfortable stay.

We had a girls weekend and everything was wonderful. The staff is awesome, as always! It was so nice to see Holly and Hannah! I also received a welcome message from Steven, and we were upgraded to a suite. Brandon, who checked us in was very helpful with every request we had and when it came to the lock on or door being tempermental. The room was clean and spacious. The girls loved spending time in the pool and hot tub! Thank you for a great time! We want to come back every year for a girls weekend.
