We have just returned from Clarion Inn, and what can I say, perfect! This is the third time I have stayed in orlando and this is by far my favourite hotel. The rooms are cleaned everyday and are a very good size. The staff were all freindly and very helpfull. The dining area for breakfast was great, a good selection off brekafest food and the bar area at night also had a good selction of drinks and takeaway food too. Clarion is in a great location, 10/15 mins to all Disney parks, international drive and about 30/45 mins away from the airport. Just outside Clarion is a range of shops, restueraunts and takeaways, but even though this is all going on, clarion is quite, peaceful and very quite at night. The two swimming pools are great for the kids and there was nothing better than getting back from a long day in Disney to be able to return and go for a swim. If and when we come back to Orlando, I would 100% consider booking with Clarion again. Thanks for our stay and making it such an enjoyable time while we stayed with you. Rob, Helen and the kids. :)
Just returned from a visit to the Clarion Inn and we really could not complain, our room was clean and a decent size for our family of three. All of the hotel staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast and thought there was plenty of choice. Our son enjoyed the pools, splash zone and arcade. Only complaint was it would of been good if the buses to the parks were more regular but can not fault the hotel itself.
We only stayed for one night, but that was enough.
The room was clean, but musty. We couldn't check in before 4, but the clerk stored our bags. The location was close to Disney, which is what we wanted.
The major downside was the breakfast. We booked the room through a third party website and it said that breakfast was included. It turned out to be a continental breakfast, which I had in other hotels, but all it offered was cereal and toast. I'm a diabetic so it wasn't enough for me. There was a hot breakfast at an additional charge of $10, across the room, which you could see and smell. They could have at least had a waffle maker, hard boiled eggs or fruit. I would've been happy with that. For what I paid for the room, I was extremely disappointed!
If you don't eat breakfast, then this is the hotel for you. If not, look elsewhere.
We’re on day 2/3 here and so far so good. Staff are friendly, although I haven’t needed anything from
them since check-in. Grounds are beautiful and pool area is perfect for kids! We haven’t made our way into the restaurant yet, however there are restaurants all along Palm Parkway, so it’s not really necessary to eat here. The proximity to the parks is amazingabout a 10-15 minute drive. Shuttle situation is a little weird, as they don’t go directly to Magic Kingdom. Overall I’m really pleased with what I got for my money here, and would definitely recommend!
Be careful don’t leave anything in your room , the tooth fairy came to our son and left his $5 on the bed, and even though we leave a tip for cleaner in an envelope everyday , the $5 was gone after room was cleaned , felt disappointed, by hotel as when I rang reception about this , they rang back saying it’s our fault , we should use to safe in our room and cleaner might thought it was a tip , so can they take anything out of your room and say oh it’s a tip !, apart from this hotel is fantastic, great spot for Disney parks
I stayed at the Clarion Inn for 2 weeks. Whilst half the staff are very nice, and the lobby area of the hotel is nice and offers a snack shop, bar and games room, the actual room I was given was very disappointing. And the things I am about to list could be easily fixed by the hotel with a bit of effort. Let’s start with cleanliness. I stayed two weeks and my bed did not get changed once. It took up to day 12 for the floor to get hoovered. And whilst we got a change of towels every day, it doesn’t mean they were clean. Twice I received towels with dirty brown stains on them. The carpet had seen better days, there was horrible stains in several places and I refused to walk on it without my flip flops. The shower head was being held together with what looked like sellotape. And the paint on the walls was peeling to reveal the previous colour. There are two lamps in the room but being up against very dark furniture the room felt very dull and gloomy. Despite having a privacy/do not disturb sign on the door, staff will continuously walk in unannounced. Sometimes several times a day. I took Ill vomiting on one of the days and could only place potential germs with the brown stained towel I’d used (but cannot be sure it was that). I filed a report with a security staff member and he basically called me a liar, until a lovely lady came over and agreed a dirty towel could slip through the laundry system. Apparently towels get folded by a machine after being washed, but maybe someone should take the time to check them before they go out to guests. My niece spilled some juice on her bed and the next day we received a rude note from a member of housekeeping but the front desk apologised about the note which we appreciated. The restaurant and bar really need to take a look at their menu and offer some vegetarian food. My sister and I could not eat in the restaurant at all as every night every single dish had meat in it. Not one vegetarian option. A simple meat free pasta dish would do.
So if the carpets got cleaned/replaced, the walls got painted and the room got brightened up, this would help a lot.
A couple good points to end on; the free shuttle bus to the parks is a plus, the breakfast is nice and has a good variety to choose from and the little shop is well stocked.
Just returned from a pleasant stay, decent size room with good facilities, very clean. Hotel facilities are good too, breakfast was enjoyable, can't comment on dinner though as we were out and about each night. The only thing to improve on would be the shuttle buses to the theme parks, some are at really funny times (like the return from Magic Kingdom being at 11.30pm when the park closes at 10pm!?) and also quite often the buses were late. We ended up using Uber quite a lot. Having said that, the shuttles are a free service, and it wouldn't stop me from returning, as the hotel is in a brilliant location for Disney World, Universal etc. So thank you for a good stay and hopefully one day we will return
Returned home on the 6th after a 2 week stay here for our honeymoon. We had a king size room which was lovely, clean and completely adequate for our stay. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome, Maddy checked us in and even left a little hamper for us in our room to say congratulatuons after learning we were on our honeymoon, lovely touch and so thoughtfull! Such a lovely location, near to loads of different places to eat and close to all the parks. We will deffinatley be returning when we book our next holiday to Orlando.
We are coming to the end of a 2 week stay at clarion inn for our honeymoon. It is also my first time out of the uk and I have not been disappointed! Room is spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The grounds are well kept and all staff are helpful and friendly. The pool and pool area is always clean and we have seen someone come in 2/3 times whilst we are on the pool just to check everything is tidy. If we ever came back to Florida I would 1000% stay again! Thankyou. Mr & Mrs Tomkins
This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life. I was out of the pool for 45 minutes and decided to go get a bottle of water from the lobby. I grabbed a towel since I just finished nursing my son and didn’t want everyone to notice that occurred. Completely dry I went into the lobby and waited 20 minutes because the cashier left and then the manager on duty Emily approached me and begun to verbally attack me saying I was wet (it was the child in-front of me) accused me of getting water every where. I then attempted to tell her I’m not wet I just finished breastfeeding my son and she told me she didn’t care and she would kick me out. She is the most disrespectful person I have ever encountered and basically told me that regardless if the reason I had a towel around me was for nursing my son she would kick me out. I left my family at the hotel and will check in else where, whete they don’t attack me for covering my boobs from breastfeeding!
Very nice hotel. We come here every year because of the location being close to all the attractions. The 2 pools are big and well maintained. Beds are very comfortable, room was clean, and did not hear any commotion at all at night.
I stayed here in 2016 it’s a great central point, if you have a car easy to get too from coming back from your day trips.
Food was the only thing that we didn’t really go for as there is just so many good places around it.
Beds we big and comfortable
After travelling an hour and a half from a gig, myself and my band mates were told that our rooms were no longer available. We called the hotel earlier to explain that we would be late and were told that this was not a problem. The night manage was very unpleasant and offered no solution or even an "I'm sorry". When I spoke to the corporate office, I received this letter in reply:
Thank you for sharing your recent stay at our hotel with us.
On behalf of our entire team, I would like to apologize for failing to meet your expectations. Your satisfaction is important to us and we will be using the feedback you provided to make improvements to ensure that we offer an exceptional experience for our guests in the future. Unfortunately we had to place rooms out of order at the last minute due to an emergency which left us short on inventory.
Please accept our sincere apologies.
Respectfully,

Jerry Seinfeld summed up this situation nicely.
Jerry: I don't understand. Do you have my reservation?
Rental Car Agent : We have your reservation, we just ran out of cars.
Jerry: But the reservation keeps the car here. That's why you have the reservation.
Rental Car Agent: I think I know why we have reservations.
Jerry: I don't think you do. You see, you know how to *take* the reservation, you just don't know how to *hold* the reservation. And that's really the most important part of the reservation: the holding. Anybody can just take them.
Needless to say, I will not be staying at a Clarion any time soon.
Currently staying here and on day 6 of the holiday. We are really only using the hotel as a base to sleep, breakfast is good when we have used it and takeaway pizzas taste great. The bar food is great value. There are 5 of us in our party and once we checked into our room we were delivered a food up bed for one of my children leaving very little room in the room! The only letdown is the shuttle service prior to booking I was led to believe the shuttles run frequently, this is not the case and there have been a few times we have not been able to get on one..with 3 children in tow you can understand the frustration. This shuttle service is very limited considering the size of the hotel and the amount of guests there are, because of this we will stay at a Disney hotel when we return because we have been put off so much by the shuttle service
Excellent hotel. Best location near Disney theme parks. Free shuttle to various parks. Good in-house and in-room facilities. Cozy splash pool & relaxing bed. Simple but nice complimentary breakfast. Friendly staff..all that u got after booking this hotel.
I didn’t even get to stay here and already I’ve been faced with awful customer service, which makes me glad I had to cancel. I called the day of my reservation because my boyfriend had fallen extremely ill and was informed to go to Expedia. Did this. Expedia called the hotel and told me the hotel said to email them a copy of my boyfriend’s doctor’s note to prove he was sick. Did so. Called a week later because I heard NOTHING and was once again directed to Expedia after calling the hotel (June 7th). Expedia called this hotel again, and then informed me that the hotel said they just needed the email again and that my refund would process by the end of the day on Friday the 8th and someone would get in contact with me. Sent the email again.
I haven’t heard ANYTHING. Not only is my account in the red, but I have two bills to pay and I need to be able to afford a few groceries. I am extremely angry; I should not be getting the runaround like this and I should not have had to resort to a FACEBOOK review to hopefully be seen by someone who can actually assist me.
The room itself wasn’t bad. Make sure you lock everything up! I left my headphones on the dresser, naive of me I guess, and they were taken while we were at the parks. I was told they’ll do an investigation but nothing will be done unless the employee admits to taking them. So the cheap stay ended up costing more with my stolen headphones.
We have been planning this trip for almost 2 months and have had our reservations in place and the room paid. When we tried to check in to our reserved room we were told that the hotel was full and were transferred to a hotel 30 minutes away. We are planning on returning to the Disney Area in the next few weeks to use the remainder of our park passes and would love to actually stay in this hotel, but, we are very hesitant in using Clarion again as we can not be transferred again. When you make a reservation in a specific hotel transferring us over 30 minutes away shouldn't have happened.
Friendly staff except when I called to make them aware my daughter's antibiotic went missing from the time we left and got back to our room. The only people that were in our room was housekeeping while we were gone. The supervisor got really defensive and said we must of misplaced them. Ummm, no! Put them by the tv before we left. The room was nice for the price.
Just got back a week ago had a great time our room was great definitely recommend clarion inn everyone was so friendly and made us so welcome x
