I have stayed here a few time with no complaints, until my last visit. The room appeared unclean. Specifically the walls. The bed in the kids suite was not a king sized as advertised. Which alone was not enough to turn us away because we have enjoyed this place before and you can't beat the rates BUT
This trip we traveled with a guest that has a service dog. We had plumbing issues that backed water up into the room and on the floor. It was late at night when we got back from the theme parks when we saw the problem and they refused to help because of the dog. Who was on a leash. They made the disabled handler of the dog leave the room in order for them to come.
The next night we didn't get back from the MK until 1am and was locked out of the room. They said it was still the plumbing and we had to change rooms. And offered no help. I have to move 4 people and a dog at 130am by myself.
The next morning, my husband and his service dog were confronted by new staff accusing him of faking the dog and if they would have known how big she was fake or not they would have turned us away. (50lbs) One staff member even asked him what was he diagnosed with because he look fine to her, that being the proof he was faking and sneaking our pet in..
We asked to speak with managers or owners and was promised they would call us. Never happened.
This was not only disappointing because we liked this place in the past, and because people with disabilities deserve better.. but this is a pet friendly hotel. Other guests had dogs and ones bigger and not as well behaved as ours
Cheap place and price . Don't expect the world but at low price one cannt complain. Not the cleanest and older building but location was good you can walk to ild town or stop and play . Large pools that are heated. Most rooms have small fridge and microwave be but just remember you get what you pay for cheap price gives you cheap older hotel. But did seem clean. So if that's your thing this is not a bad place to go
Great hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. I was offered a ride on the golf cart back to my room. Room service is awesome. Clean towels are in my bathroom everyday. Location is the best part. There is a buffet, McDonald's, and Denny's you can walk to. There is also a theme park nearby.
Got to the room and an hour later started feeling wheezy - pretty sure it was because of the mold in the bathroom! It was coming in black, dark circles above the tub and on the door frame of the bathroom. I definitely do not recommend taking your child here who may have some sort of breathing issues like myself. Requested a different room, which the manager was very polite, and my other room was much better. The front desk customer service insulted someone who was foreign and perhaps didn’t understand the process of “checking in”. I was somewhat surprised by her lack of decency when she said to the other front desk employee “are you serious?” Obviously working in customer service in Orlando, FL, you should understand tons of foreign people will probably stay at a hotel near Disney. I was looking to book for many months, since the company I work for will have over 15 employees staying for close to 2 years in Orlando, FL, but this hotel will DEFINITELY NOT be on the list again!
Nice place for the money. It is an inexpensive motel and it shows. The rooms need to be remodeled with some electrical outlets added. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. We stayed for two nights and received housekeeping while we were out for the day. They had a nice little snack bar to eat at with pretty decent burgers and pizza and reasonably priced. It wasn't bad and you get what you pay for.
First room was old. Beds were old and just sank in the middle. I called front desk and had to pay 17.00 to get a decent updated room. Whirlpools don't work. Heated pool not heated.Staff was very nice but when we got home noticed my daughter's ds is missing and upon calling, found we are not having a lot of luck getting anyone to help us and won't even check for it. Left a message for the manager. Waiting! My daughter has had that game for 7 years. All her games were on it. She has cried forever!
The location wasn't bad; fairly close to the parks. The room itself was pretty gross. There was mold or blood on the ceiling and in the bathroom. All the air conditioners dripped onto the walk ways and down from the upper rooms. The front desk was not friendly, but the food court and bar staff were very nice. I honestly thought it was a motel and not a hotel. They were very accommodating for my service dog, though.
I'm satisfied with the customer service and maintenance they have here. I told them I didn't have a coffee maker and a couple minutes later they brought me some. They always made sure my room was clean and I had enough coffee. The customer service at the front desk was great. I felt like family
Doesn't seem to be a fancy hotel. Rather nice Motel . pretty big. Anyhow it seems to be busy all the time. So that's much for it. The location is very convenient. The people are nice. Bilingual. Has a little store four basic needs. And the people taking care of the information about the tourism options are incredibly kind
Spacious, clean, safe, nice jacuzzi, nice baby pool and adult sized pool. We had a kid suite that had a set of bunk beds, twin bed and a queen size bed. Close to Pirates Cove, Fun Spot ( get all day fun until 11pm) only if you purchase wrist band. Fun spot will allow you to reenter as many times until closing. We had an awesome time.
We stayed in the two room suite to accommodate the group that we brought. There was a broken bed when we arrived but they replaced it with a new one for us. We thought we were getting two rooms with double beds in each, but ended up with two doubles in one room and two single day beds and a trundle double. It worked for us but we had to move things around and ask for extra bedding. The little kitchenette had a very small microwave, a bar fridge and lots of empty drawers. Don't expect to cook much in this kitchen and you need to bring your own dishes. The room was relatively clean and it served our purposes for the week we stayed. Close to Old Town and gift shops made it easy to walk around some nearby attractions when we weren't at Disney. The pools were nice, though not overly large. The "hot" tub was actually colder than the water in the pool.
Over priced motel. I booked this hotel based off the amenities onsite that seems very family friendly. I was completely bamboozled by the appearance of the rooms. The decor looked like someone pick up furnishings off the side of the road to decorate the rooms. Not to mention the analog Television and wet smell of my carpet in the room. When I called to inquire why the rooms looked like something out of the twilight zone I was placed on hold for 30 minutes. For what they charge they should take the time to update ALL there rooms not just the ones poolside!!
When I arrived there was a loud obnoxious man in the lobby yelling he wanted his money back and that there was dirt on the ice machines. That did not start the stay off well. I totally understand you get what you pay for, so when we walked into the hotel room we knew it wasn't going to be anything special. It does have a good concept, and the pool and playground for the kids are centrally located (yes kid friendly). The breakfast was actually better than I thought and the location is good. Now even though I would not stay there again, you can't beat what you get for the price. Again, you get what you pay for.
