And excellent place. I only spent one day there but the staff and atmosphere were fantastic. Great amenities on site and mobile check in make this place stellar in my book. Hope to return very soon.
Nice hotel, went there to wash football clothes as the hotel we were at did not have theirs set up yet. I did not overnight or view the roomd. It was a typical courtyard and currently under some construction. Nice bar area with good buffalo wings and plenty of plugs to work or charge your electronics.
Perfect place to rest! Night audit Michael Was super helpful! Due to availablilty I got an hour late checkout and Debbie was my server at the breakfast and she was really helpful to me
I stay at Marriott properties every week and this one is very old and needs to be renovated. It is clean and has a surprisingly decent gym. The parking is very challenging though and it does not have a 24-hour market like all the other Courtyards I have been to. There are much better Marriott properties in the area to choose from.
The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The lobby is clean and welcoming. Our room was at the back of the hotel but there was plenty of parking and it is well lit at night. We had a room with a view of one of the two pools but it was not noisy at all. Our room was spacious and very clean. There was a small refridgerator but no microwave. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my clients. It is close to many restaurants, minutes away from Disney Springs and the Disney theme parks and just a few miles from Sea World. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.
First floor room , broken curtain. Room was basic but nice, even though there was always humidity in the room and the temp control could have been way better. I got sick one of the days and they brought up complimentary tea. They have a nice shop with most provisions, medicine, etc. I would recommend for a 3 star.
This is my second time visiting the Courtyard Marriott as I write this review. The staff is always friendly, the room is nice, and well priced. The breakfast, while not complimentary, is delicious. The hotel has disney apparel ex. Pictures on the wall, lobby decor, and Mickey mouse waffles at breakfast. Overall a great stay.
As usual, a brilliant stay. Last minute reservation due to Hurricane Irma. We got a 2 room suite which was right next to exit door. Room was very clean. Two double beds in bedroom and sofa bed in main room. Staff were brilliant and managed to extend our stay despite being rushed off their feet dealing with people fleeing the hurricane. Have used this hotel lots when staying in central Florida as it is ideally located for the theme parks.
Everything is clean and maintained. The air conditioning works great allowing you to adjust it to the temperature you want. The staff is quick and helpful. The room is spacious and doesn't feel cramped. I haven't noticed any problem with noise, even though the ice machine and drink machine are just two doors over. There is a refrigerator in the room which is a nice convenience. The only minor inconvenience I've had was parking. I had to park a few sections over since the spaces in my lot were already filled. It made for a longer walk, but not a deal breaker.
So far it's been very nice. We still have 2 more night here. Wish the hot tub waa ad hotter though and that there was a way to turn on the jets. Staff is super helpful. Overall it's a very nice hotel. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a Disney vacation. And wants to save money.
The story of two hotels in one. In the lobby everything was nice. Big Mickey Mouse and modern front desk; all seemed well. Front desk staff were nice and friendly. Great. But then
Walking down the hall to the room, there was a sudden shift. Instead of modern, it became dated, run-down, poorly maintained. All at once. Like we'd just entered a completely different hotel.
Okay, let's get to the room and see what we've got. Get in the elevator, which is nice and clean, if rattling, and go up. The ceiling was mirrored, which my two boys got a kick out of. On the third floor there was NO air conditioning. The hallway was HOT.
Alright, how about the room Old and run-down. While there were modern, perfectly acceptable furnishings, they was in a room that was starting to fall apart. In the bathroom the baseboards were bubbling and the bottom of the door rusted. There was a nice, modern picture hanging on a dingy wall with peeling wallpaper. I wondered how someone could put a nice, clean, modern, well-framed picture on the wall, without apparently seeing the wall. Didn't they look at the wall?
I couldn't quite decide if the carpet was from the 80's or the 90's. My older son said the room had a smell to it. The only AC available was a tiny little unit in the corner, which is one of those things that can double as a heater. Turned on the AC as high as it would go hoping the room would cool down.
Went to the pool and found it was PACKED with not-that-many people. The main reason it was packed was it was only marginally larger than a typical pool one would find at a normal house. There weren't really that many people there, it's just the pool was disproportionately tiny to the size of the hotel. It was like a gag gift - giving a huge fat man a little baby-sized t-shirt or something. My younger son kept insisting there was poop at the bottom of the pool. I wasn't going in to find out, but it could have been larger cookie crumbs. That's a mystery I didn't care to resolve.
Left the pool, went back to the room. After an hour and a half since turning the AC on full blast, I realized this room wasn't going to be getting any cooler. Looked at my family; everyone was miserable.
Called the front desk and told them the situation. Again, very friendly and helpful; it's a shame I can't review them separately since they don't deserve this rating. They helped make sure we got the refund processed through expedia and were apologetic and accommodating about the situation.
On the way to the car, I walked back past the nice, modern lobby and the big Mickey Mouse, and gave the nice front desk people the room keys.
We checked out and drove back to Tampa, not one member of the family was willing to stay there the night, even though it meant not going to parks we'd come for the next day.
I'm sitting here in the room right now n
Unable to use the amenities, such as the beautiful pool shown in the pictures. This is because there are 20 + teens running around unsupervised. The staff refuses to do anything about it, when we attempted to use the pool the teens blocked me from doing so and pushed me. I can't go to sleep because it's night time and the teens are still outside screaming and running around the halls. And the staff still isn't doing anything. The A.c. is noisy, the rooms are somewhat clean-- musty smell, probably due to the AC.
This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. The place is a little older but the rooms are updated and nice. Bed was a little hard but was fine for one night. The main issue is parking. We were on the furthest wing and there is not enough parking on that end so we had to walk quite a way through the winding building to eventually get to our room. Also we were near the exit/entrance and the door bangs very loudly when people come and go and could be disruptive. The pool looks very nice, I hope we get to use that the next time we stay there!
I always enjoy staying here. The location is great when you're visiting Disney. It's just off the property so you don't get caught in too bad traffic. Also, they're close to some great restaurants and an outlet. The rooms are always clean and very spacious. The staff has always been very accommodating if we arrive early or need anything. And the rates are great too. I will definitely be back.
