This is a quaint, small, family friendly little resort. The one bedroom 2 bathroom unit is equipped with a full kitchen although it does need to be updated. Located next to the big Holiday Inn Resort.

We were a little late reserving our vacation for Panama City Beach so we kinda got stuck with going through RCI for housing accommodations. Once we found out we would be staying at Casa Blanca Resort we immediately looked it up & started to read the reviews. This is a 2.5 - 3.5 motel on the beach. It reminded me of an old school La Quinta or Motel 6.
Room:
We had a loft room which included a queen size bed, a full size pullout sofa bed & a loft where you had to take a wooden ladder off the wall & mount it to these hooks so you can climb up to two twin size mattresses that were on the floor. The main bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable (at least for my wife & I). We checked out days ago and still have residual back and shoulder pain. The room was not well cleaned as we found hair in various locations and splatter on walls from previous guests. Dishes were in the cabinets but some were still greasy & dirty. There is no house keeping, you the guest must keep your space maintained.There is no elevator access for upper floors. Other then those room complaints the room was just OK at best ( rooms are outdated). The loft room could sleep 6 with adult & kids and zero privacy. I must add they are doing a few repairs on the outside of the complex
Location:
Casa Blanca is in a great location as it sits right on the beach. It is located close to several Walmarts, restaurants & entertainment.

1 hot tub
2 Outdoor showers (1 coming off the beach & 1 by the pool area)
Onsite laundromat ( first resort that I've seen you had to pay to wash $2.25 per load) outside laundromat much cheaper, but shouldn't have to pay to wash)

Was not an overnight guest but had a chance to hang out with some friends very nice rooms and great view of the gulf from the rooms

It's a kind of laid back drink your cup of coffee as the sun comes up kind of place. Staff is friendly and maintenance is fast and knowledgeable of repairs if at all needed.
I have been a guest there for over 20 years and love this place. Beautiful beach and family oriented. You have shopping close and a family arcade ,bowling alley and skating ring across from your room.response / report this review -

Easy location, right on the beach. Undergoing renovation, pleasant staff, clean, not fancy, dated, but serviceable. If you're looking for luxury, this isn't it, but if you're looking for a great beach location and a simple place to sleep, it's fine.

Small and basic rooms. Reminds me of a small apartment room. Room smelled strongly of citronella and sunblock. Gets the job done if you just need a place to sleep for vacation. Very basic furnishings. Security is on site until 5 am and are aggressive about checking parking which is nice.

WOW beautiful resort super nice staffsits right on the most beautiful beach in FloridaMy room was nice and large well shocked with everything we needed..no problems at all other than we had to go back home :( so wish we could have stayed another weekcan't wait to go back next year.
