Ate dinner at the hotel restaurant, nine-ten. It's a great restaurant. Every meal I've had there has been outstanding.

Chose to stay here rather than a few miles inland at a hotel closer to my office and was thrilled I did. Amazing location right by the ocean, in a vibrant and walkable neighborhood.

This is such a beautiful and historic hotel. The valet is very friendly and their restaurant Nine-Ten is amazing. Try their 6 course meal. It is custom made to tailor each individual and is to die for!

Friendly staff, great service. Housekeeping was fabulous and I never even saw them. The Hotel itself is a little dated and it's hard to navigate through the corridors and stairs with suitcases. The location of the rooms is not well marked and you have to kind of stumble upon your correct hallway. Otherwise, a great little place to stay, comfy beds/pillows, a great location if you don't mind the traffic, great views and close enough to walk to the Ocean.

Came here with my parents and sister, food was good, valet was more than friendly, staff was over all amazing. Only problem I had was not with the hotel it's self but I guess some of the people staying their, for no reason at the crack of dawn someone would always start knocking on the door and when I went to answer it they'd be out of sight. Almost like a hotel ding ding ditch.

Restaurant was good, but not great. Lamb shank too dry. Pork belly appetizer was excellent and wine list was impressive. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Room and hotel were spotless. Not only could I see the ocean from my room but could hear the waves crashing from my open window. Ate breakfast at the restaurant. Food and service were amazing. 5 minutes to the beach. Cant wait to stay here again!

Great historic hotel in La Jolla near the ocean. Rooms are nice and clean and the service is excellent. Noise levels could be be better however.

My third stay and each one has gotten better. The location is ideal for walking to the beach, shops and restaurants and access to the city in a short drive. The comfort of the rooms and professional staff are a plus. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

We loved staying at this hotel however if you book a Junior Suite request the 2nd floor. We heard our upstairs neighbor every movement which was not appealing at 6am each morning. The bed was extremely comfortable, rooms are private, windows open to the Pacific breeze and staff were wonderful.

Wifi could be improved. Only worked on one phone. Good thing we were only in town for one night. Service was excellent. Breakfast in our room was great though the coffee could have been a little bigger. We would definitely stay here again.
