My experience here was wonderful! Michelle was extremely helpful in accommodating a mishap in our plans, service was great, staff was super friendly. The hotel itself is super cute and cozy and the location is awesome! My next visit in San Diego will definitely be here!

I always enjoy my stay at Best Western Plus Hacienda Hotel Old Town because they treat me so wonderfully. I love the beauty of the hotel and hotel grounds and its location is perfect, right in the heart of Old Town San Diego. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable and there is not a bad view anywhere. I highly recommend staying at this hotel and if you become an "Elite" member, you will receive even more benefits!

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around

Love the location in old town San Diego. The hotel had a homey feel to it because of the windows and the shutters. Love the high ceiling and great amenities and location to the eateries and gift shops. I slept way better than other best western locations. I would definitely come back to this location for business. It’s slightly across from airport but far enough to get away from the air planes taking off etc.

Staff was very polite and helpful. Shuttle service was quick and on time. Not the best place if you are not able to take stairs. There are many buildings on different levels. The signage could be better. Getting from my room to the pool was an adventure. After many wrong turns I finally found it. Room was spacious and clean. Pool gave a nice view of the sunset.

Hotel was nice, clean, large rooms and staff very friendly. Beds we're hard and not comfy. After three days I was glad to leave. We came in as a group, booked months in advance, and they had everyone a very large distance apart. The way the hotel is set up, it can be quite a distance and confusing getting to all the elevators to find your room. We had several elderly folks with our group, and the were quilt a distance from the parking garage. Hotel is in a great location for walking down to the old town street and visiting the shops. Great food down there as well. Parking and breakfast was a major overcharge.

The Best Western Hacienda is very conveniently located in Old Town San Diego. It is also close to public transportation into downtown San Diego. The hotel is clean and well appointed. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The on-site restaurant is quite good and reasonably priced. All in all the Hacienda is a very good value.

Great location in a very busy area. Parking can be an issue unless you park at hotel for a fee. Mexican Hacienda style is perfect for it's location.
Breakfast included was a nice little bonus and the food was good.
Quite a line of people waiting at front desk for check in/out, but only waited about ;10 min.
Will stay here again when we visit San Diego.

Love this hotel! It is in walking distance to the Old Town Historic area with shops & restaurants. The decor is Spanish style with stucco, arches & murals. The staff is friendly & professional. Our rooms have always been clean. Our stay included the buffet breakfast at the hotel restaurant. It was very good, convenient, and a nice way to start the day. We always stay here when visiting San Diego. Not stuffy, family friendly, and they have an outdoor pool.

Our friend recommended the BW Hacienda to us after they stayed here a few weeks prior to our arrival. It was everything she said and more. The rooms were clean and very roomy with a warm inviting atmosphere. The Spanish decor was welcoming. Breakfast was included which was a plus. We would definitely stay here the next time we visit San Diego!!

We are from Wisconsin and have been staying at this hotel every time we come to San Diego. The location is amazing and the views from the plaza level are beautiful. This place is our home away from home when we are in town visiting Old Town San Diego. We love this place and have had nothing but great memories and experiences there. We will be definitely coming here again and again.

I can't recommend this hotel enough. It is several blocks from the Old Town station with access to beaches, attractions, downtown and Seaport Village. Quick and easy to navigate even without a car. But, most importantly, it is a gracious step back in time that refreshes - while providing modern accommodations. I stay in this hotel whenever I visit San Diego and come away refreshed. My children and I are planning to make this a yearly "pilgrimage" once I no longer need to travel for a yearly conference. We'll mimic the swallows of San Juan Capistrano and return to the Hacienda as often as we can.

Property was nice but you will have to navigate through many different buildings to get to your room in some cases. I am sure they can accommodate those with disability in some way if you let them know. Parking is $19 bucks, I believe if you are a rewards member they should cut you a break here. The breakfast buffet has got to be the best deal in town. Two kinds of scrambled eggs ( plain and with goodies in them), and a full array of bacon, fruit, bread, waffles, beverages, etc. At the time of our visit it was $11.50. We had a drink in the bar, it was nice and cozy inside, plenty of tvs to watch sports, high tops and lots of regular tables plus outside seating if you wanted. Great service. The room was really large, high ceiling, comfy bed, a couch and a dresser to put your things, plus a table and chairs, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Nice bathroom. I would definitely stay here again but would try to find street parking first, which is at a premium.

Wow! I had no idea that a charming, quiet, hotel like this was right here in Old Town! The room had the feel of a little cottage and they gave us one right near the fitness center so it was super quiet at night. We loved the accessibility to the main street a few steps away and if you didn't want to venture far, The Tequila Factory restaurant was only an elevator away
The grounds are lovelyit's as if you're staying at a wealthy relatives hacienda. It does take some getting use to at night since it is a little maze -like, but we took it in stride as part of the adventure!
The staff is so sweet and attentive. This made us feel welcomed and respected. The parking garage is secure and you can park your car with confidence and stroll this interesting little town, by foot.
We are already thinking about returning in may!
