This is a great little hideaway place. It has a free internet business comp you can use. Unlike many other hotels that make you pay to use the computer. Printing is free. They have a bar and restaurant which is nice. Rooms were spacious and well kept. The best part was we could go in the Jacuzzi at 1am. Not sure if it was supposed to be like that but the 2 times we have stayed there it was totally open. I would recommend to others.

There is nothing nice to say about our stay We have stayed here before in the past and have never run across something like this. First of all we were given the wrong room. I️ had requested a room with two queen beds and upon checking in I️ was told that’s what I️ would get. We checked in late that night with our 5 year old, hauled our luggage upstairs to the second floor only to find a room with ONE queen bed. I️ had to drive back to the lobby and get another room. The whole process took about 35 minutes. It was exhausting. The next morning we decided to head to the beach before making the six hour drive home. We got back to our room before check out so we could shower and remove the sand from the beach freashen up before hitting the road. That never happened because there was no running water in the building. My wife used the restroom with no way to flush or wash her hands. It was awful. The front desk just said they were just advised of the water needing to be shut off and they were sorry. It was a joke. No solution was offered other then to open the pool showers and have us shower there. It was awful.

The receptionist that always helps us out is Anna, she is such a good employee. I have called 4-5 times back and she has never once gave me an attitude. Rooms are good for the price the best part is that you don't have to pay for parking (this is good to note, because at other places they charge). I asked for extra blankets and they were nice about it. Love this hotel and their customer service!

Pretty good room, a little small but beds were comfy. A.C. worked well, not too loud. Decent shower and toilet, good sink counter space. Nice landscaping on the walkways. Pleasant saltwater jacuzzi is open till 3am. and pool uses no chlorine either. Very convenient for events at the Town and Country resort.

Took a last minute vacation to San Diego and spent 5 nights here. The rooms are basic, clean and comfortable, which is perfect because if you're vacationing right you really only sleep and get refreshed here. The restaurant serves up delicious meals and offers poolside service. The outdoor pool and hot tub are well maintained as well. The grounds around the complex is perfectly manicured and makes the place seem like an oasis. My only recommendation is to plan ahead with food and groceries. There aren't any late night restaurants or mini marts near Hotel Circle so if you're returning late and hungry be sure to stop on you're way back or you'll be heading back out again. I will definitely stay here again on future trips.

Service staff were pleasant and hospitable, loved the amenities provided, overall the status of the room was good But questionable. It's definitely a situation where you get what you pay for. I loved the location!

Very outdated hotel. Definitely not to have little kids/family at. Had a homeless guy with a key going to every room swiping it to see if it would work. Very small rooms no microwave. Restaurant room service was awesome that's about it. Definitely won't be coming back to this one.

I didn't see the facility at its best--there were significant renovations going on. The Hotel Circle area generally is a throw back to the 1960s-70s era of travel to San Diego. That said, there's something comforting about the region, and the look--mature palm trees everywhere, up against the south slope above Mission Valley--was a welcome throwback. A pleasant experience, overall.

Rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable. Good value overall. The rooms were on the smaller side so has 2 double beds rather than queen. Only real issue was the room smelled VERY heavily of (what Im guessing was) heavy duty carpet cleaner. It was quite overpowering.

It's a very nice hotel. From the outside, it doesn't seem like much. There are some nice modern amenities, like the wifi and a germ-resistant remote control. The beds were clean and I like that the comforters were decent and not some awful pattern or material, like hotels used to have. The staff was nice. Check in and check out was quick and easy.

Nice looking grounds for an older hotel. Nice lush landscape in the center area. Nice lounge. The reason for the low score is there was very little water pressure (at times a trickle) in our room and no hot water for 3 days . They told us there were no other rooms available.

Rooms are clean. Front desk could be better. They act as if they are doing us a favor of receiving clients. Never been denied safety deposit boxes before, anywhere. The gardens around the blocks of rooms are nice and well taken care of.

Enjoyed my 5 day stay. Hotel was very clean and tidy. Grounds were nicely landscaped and taken care of. Hotel restaurant was friendly and food was very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful with nearby directions.

Room was decent for the price. And it is conveniently located. The reason for my two stars is because the customer service is absolutely horrible. When I went to checkout I was told there was an extra charge for room service that I never even ordered!! I hope they don't do this to all of their customers to try to make extra money because it isn't fair. She agreed to take it off my bill but when I asked for a receipt showing proof that I was not responsible for this charge she said she wasn't able to do so. Because I booked through a third party, they aren't able to print receipts. I have never heard of such nonsense in my life. This is definitely why I will never stay here again. Not trustworthy and sheer laziness to even print out a receipt.
