This hostel is awesome. Very clean , friendly staff and guests. Highly recommend staying here. Great location too. Very reasonable rates and lots to do !!!!

John is the man! The rooms are so clean, the staff were all so friendly, the wifi is better then home, the location is 5 mins to the beach. This hostel is #1 for me

The location is perfect - a block away from the beach surrounded by restaurants and shops. Rooms are clean and well-kept. Service is amazing - very helpful. I'd definitely visit again and recommend to everyone!

This Hostel is really awesome. We actually extended our stay for two more days. The Hostel staff makes a great job, the one thing that matters is having a great time.

One of the best hostels I've been stayed in! Nice staff, good breakfast, good and clean rooms the choice of offered tours are good! Can definitely recommend this place to stay and it's nearby the beach :)

This as been a amazing place , great staff and awesome thing to do Far price on cost to stay here . On one main strip to the ocean , a lot stuff to do in walking distance 👍. and best of all then give you rides to some place 😍 and it is free.. all i know i will be back here again for sure . Meeting new people for all over worlds was awesome Ones again awesome Staff 👍😎👍

My boyfriend and I loved it so much, we extended our stay. This is by far the cleanest hostel and they have so much to offer. Great schedule of events including a daily tour of Tijuana and they offer free yoga by the beach twice weekly. Gorgeous facility, too. Just wish they had AC.

- staff is friendly - rooms were clean. Typical dorm layout with bunk beds but it's a better and cheaper alternative for a single person than staying at hotels. -they serve breakfast, which is nice. -hostel is located right beside the oceanfront and there are many little shops and restaurants to choose from. -wifi is included and is pretty fast. -the only downside is that it's a quite a hike or a 20 minute drive to downtown so if you don't have a car, it might be a little frustrating. Other than that, it has been a nice stay.

Beautiful, clean and such friendly staff! I had the pleasure of joining them for a bonfire on the beach. Smores were provided as well as beach towels which was very convenient. If you're staying at another usa hostels location, you can use the facilities at this location. Beautiful and open lounge area in the front and back which were great! Overall, really enjoyed my time there and would recommend staying at this location!

Excellent location in Ocean Beach. So many good restaurants and bars nearby. The pier and dog beach are close by too.
Facilities feel brand new as they just remodeled. Cleanest hostel I've ever stayed at. Big screen TV with satelitte and Wii. Full kitchen with all the appliances and kitchenware you need. Really cool outdoor padio.
They have beer pong supplies too just ask. Smoker friendly outdoorsbring your "water pipes."
Excellent staff that enjoy hanging out woth guests. You will meet travelers from all over the world and US.
They also have daily and nightly activities and even offer day trips to Tijuana.response / report this review -

## Best hostel ever! ##
I'm in love with Ocean Beach and this Hostel. The area is super laid back and the beach is perfect to hang out and go surfing. Good foot everywhere and no cover live music on 3-5 days of the week.
Everything in the hostel is new and clean, but the best part was the social component: I don't know how they do it, but 99% of the guests are cool, young people that travel alone or in small groups. So everybody meets at the back patio and gets in contact with each other: In the mornings you can make plans for the day with your new friends and in the evenings you'll always find somebody to drink a beer with. The activities are always fun and the volunteers hang out with the guest.
So I had to extend my stay for a week, like nearly everybody does :D
The breakfast is OK, they have Bagels, Oatmeal, Bananas, Clementines, Juice, Tee and Coffee. It would be nice to have cereals additionally.response / report this review
