Convenient location to the airport and Amtrak. Friendly service. They were very nice about putting us in a room away from the main street which involved an upgrade to a suite, but the room had a musty smell and the heat didn't work. The free breakfast was good.

I first noticed the outdated ac unit, which reminds me of my grandmother's house. Not only is the AC unit located on the upper wall next to the ceiling, but I suspect that the air vents are all connected due to the fact that I can smell the neighbouring smokers, even with the window closed. The window is not the easiest thing to open because the guide railing is off place, and having a heavy window only grinds them against each other. The next thing is the appliances such as the microwave and mini-fridge, which were both sabotage by other residence which broke the control turn nobs for both the cooking time on the microwave, and the coolant control on the mini-fridge. The door is not sealed and the walls are thin; you can hear everyone heading for breakfast around 6 am and again when most are checking in around 5 pm, so forget about an afternoon nap.
Needless to say, this place needs to be cleaned, up-to-date, and repairs all over. Finally, make sure that you have a copy of your reservation!! Double check your charging fees V.S. your reservation confirmation charge!! Mine has been messed up and over charged too many times!

Upon checking in the staff was friendly. I asked about a late check out the following day and both staff members, Ken and a new girl, agreed it would be fine and told me to call and request it in the morning. I thought it was a bit odd since I'm used to it just being notated in the system. Parking was easy and the elevator was easily accessible. When we got to the room the layout was great. We had a king bed that was in a separate room than a pull out couch and a nice balcony. It was pretty cold in the room so I tried turning on the heater to no avail, so i called front desk to let them know and to request another blanket. It was a pretty thin blanket that felt like felt. As soon as my boyfriend and I sat on the bed we gave each other a knowing look. It was going to be an uncomfortable night. The bed was a very worn in spring mattress. I don't think it was possible to sink anymore into the mattress without touching the bed frame. If we were staying more than One night I would have definitely have cancelled our reservation and went somewhere else. We both woke up feeling like we spent the previous day in a car accident. One positive was the hot water, it lasted very long and got very hot. At 8 in the morning I called front desk to request the late check out and was told by Les that they were sold out and could not accommodate a late check out. I looked on their website and every type of room was available. I checked various 3rd party sites and found availability for that day as well. I called in to rent a room and Les again said that the inn was sold out. 2 hours later I had my boyfriend call in to ask if they had rooms available and Ken told him they did. We called from the room again and asked for a late check out and Ken said that was fine. As we were packing up to leave house keeping came and we told them we were leaving and had a late check out. They said they didn't have us on the list as a late check out then said they didn't do late check outs on Sundays and we'd be charged half a day and left. My boyfriend called front desk and got Ken again and he said we were fine and that we did have a late check out. To be sure we took the keys to front desk and checked out in person. The housekeeper and Ken were there so we asked again if we would be charged half day and both told us no. I currently have a pending charge on my cc that is equivalent to half a day, we'll see if it falls off or not. All in all I would say to stay somewhere else if you can. The layout of the rooms look nice in pictures, but your back will thank you for staying somewhere else, plus you won't have to deal with Les.

So where do I startI'll just start from trying to enter the room. First we had to figure out that the only way to get in was to turn the door knob up instead of down like normal rooms. When we entered the room the refrigerator had been left wide open and was leaking water on the floor. Since we arrived at 3am we decided to just close the door and clean up the water. The shower and tub stopper were molded and the stopper didn't even fit the tub. The next day after the room was "cleaned" we noticed that our bedding and pillows were filthy with spots, stains, and wholes. When we complained we were told to take them to the front desk where the attendant tried to say he didn't see the giant stains and wholes. Eventually, they gave us new bedding. When we began to put our things away in the drawers the nightstand collapsed on my mom's foot. We had to call someone to come get it. When they replaced it, it was with another broken nightstand. We decided not to use it. When we left to do activities and came back it looked as if someone had been in our room but nothing was cleaned. The way we knew someone was in there was the balcony was open. When we checked it we noticed it was unlocked, and when we tried to lock it, it wouldn't lock. There are no conveniently placed plugs in the sleeping area, and the two plugs by the sink barely worked. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Don't expect the Hilton but overall I had a great stay and would stay again. I stayed for almost two weeks. Check-in was fast, staff was friendly and responsive. Room was spacious (loved the bed) and clean except for the floor that needed a fresh vacuum. Hair on toilet and in tub the first day. I bought my own cleaning supplies before I felt comfortable showering. Daily clean-up crew did better with bathroom and vacuuming after that. Breakfast needs more variety but the breakfast guy is very nice and keeps things fresh. Wifi is a little slow and a lot of TV channels aren't accessible. Felt comfortable leaving the hotel at all hours of the day and night for work, no loitering seen, quiet, close to major highways. Would stay again for the price!

We had a great stay at Days Inn. James was AMAZING. He was so helpful and had the best hospitality customer service I've ever experienced. The complimentary shuttle service was so convenient. This place is perfect inexpensive place to sleep and shower for full days put in SD!

Rooms were nice and free breakfast is always great when you’re on vacation but it’s the exact same breakfast every single day. Pancakes and eggs are always a great choice but bacon or sausage would be nice sometimes, especially for those guests that are staying a week. There’s also a pointless ticket system for breakfast. Just roll on in and grab some food; nobody will ask for your ticket

Front desk check process was quick and easy. The room it's self is due to much need renovations. Plenty of Surfaces were not too clean and worn. Bathroom tub is in need of refinishing. When first entering the room a faint mildewy smell which wasn't the greatest. TV remote didn't change the channel. Bed it's self was comfortable. Other guess can be heard through the windows. In short this is a okay place to lay your head but not kick up your feet.

It's a basic hotel, conveniently located near the airport. It has plenty of free outdoor parking. The included breakfast was good, but didn't have much selection. Eggs, pancakes, toast, cereal, fruit and yogurt. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. If you are just looking for a place to sleep and nothing fancy, it's a good option for the price. I would stay there again.

Staff was very nice and accommodating. Rooms were a in need of repair as well as their wall ac as it squeaked all night and rattled the wall. Breakfast "buffet" was a little weird. There's no information on how this works and they look at you like your crazy when you stand in the middle with no direction. You first take a coupon, given to you at the front desk, into a "kitchen". You then stare at two people in from of a buffet like they're going to make you omelettes or pancakes They stare back. You start to order before they point to a jar of " coupons" and then point to a table with eggs and oatmeal. With that, you grab some eggs and oatmeal. Then its on to another building, across the courtyard, where the dining room is located. Confusing for someone who has never stayed. For the price, you get what you pay for. Overall not bad for a one night stop.

Good price for a motel at a convenient location. The rooms might not be the greatest, but it's a good price. They do have a heated pool and spa, which is always relaxing. The continental breakfast is good and filling and makes the reservation cost well worth it. We will certainly be back.

Room i stayed in was reasonable for the price. Really enjoyed the shuttle van access. Especially was nice and safe riding with Jeremy. He does it all from the front desk and is a driver. Hes the best a jack of all trades! The other staff were good too.
