Took family to visit Old Town and had Dinner and drinks at the Cosmopolitan. The food was amazing had the short ribs and pork chop, both dishes were plated beautifully and tasted amazingly. Definitely will dine there again.
I attended their thanksgiving buffet, and had a great experience. They had a large variety of dishes, and stayed on top of keeping them stocked. We were greeted and sat immediately on arrival, and never felt pressured to leave so they could reset the table.
We got married here last weekend and it was absolutely amazing!! The venue is beautiful and couldn't get more authentic San Diego. Lynn and her staff at the venue are so great! They helped us setup, decorate and even got stuck in putting up lanterns and lights So helpful and accommodating and the food was really great too! Thank you. Thank you!!
Everything about the Cosmo is amazing. We stayed 3 nights over our wedding weekend and had the best time! The staff Lynn and Robin helped make things so seamless when planning our wedding internationally. They helped our guests and accommodated everyone amazingly. They are truly one of a kind!!!
The experience was different than any hotel you could stay at. It was very authentic and each room was different. The staff was very friendly and the host showed us everything we needed to know about before going up to our room. We tried the restaurant in the hotel and it was really good. The server was friendly and nice, the service was amazing. When I'm at a restaurant I always base my tip off of service and if its excellent. This server was never a bother, he made sure everything we were taken care of. Room 9 had a standalone bathtub while room 8 has a standup shower. The two bedrooms had different bed frames and room decor. Everything was very authentic. If you want a wonderful experience I would highly recommend Cosmopolitan to stay at.
My favorite resort and casino in the strip! Has all my favorite restaurants A foodies dream.
Very nice, clean, peaceful and vintage hotel. We loved our room and our stay and we will keep it in mind for our future visits to old town San Diego. Customer service from host and manager was amazing, very courteous, friendly, accommodating and respectful.
Great service, delicious brunch. I didn't expect the kids to eat free so that was an amazing bonus. I love the atmosphere here. It feels like open air seating but has plenty of shade to help keep you cool on warm San Diego mornings.
Went to the Cosmopolitan for a wedding. It has a beautiful patio and super friendly staff! They basically gave us free reign to celebrate and everyone had a great time.
We hosted a group on a Saturday evening and the flamenco was very entertaining. The food was the best, really excellent seafood enchiladas and steak fajitas. The drinks at the bar were refreshing.
Location in historic old Town with beautifully preserved building. Service was amazing. Venue was beautiful and accommodated our wedding party of about 100. Loved the plants and flowers and magical set up
I attended a company function here and the menu was mostly Mexican food. The service was very good and the atmosphere great. Seating was largely outside and it' was a cool night so we were glad to see the heaters already in place and working.
We went for dinner around 6pm on a Thursday and were seated outside. No inside seating seemed to be available, but there are plenty of heaters outside. The waitstaff was very attentive, it was not very busy. The drinks and food came out quickly. I got the short ribs and my daughter got the kids pizza. Kids eat free with adult entree purchase. The food was very tasty. Cute atmosphere and a little break from all the same mexican food nearby.
I came down on an overnight trip by train from Orange County by train. It's an easy walk with luggage from the train station to the historical part of Old Town San Diego where the hotel is. There are many shops and restaurants easy walking distance. The room was clean and well preserved for such a historic venue. I enjoyed my stay because I love the history and quaint qualities. However this might not be for everyone. Most dated buildings like this seem to have small rooms by today's standards and three isn't much space to spread out. However I think one of the rooms dose have a sitting parlor. You can hear the freeway and trains. Bring ear plugs.
