We had a great stay there. The food was delicious (they were more than happy to accommodate my many food allergies & restrictions) and the service was amazing!! Everyone was very nice & helpful. Would definitely recommend this resort.

Lovely place, food is ok. Staff work hard BUT it's a timeshare, and those presentation staff have perfected the relationship building but not the close. They don't get that different people, different cultures respond differently to different sales tactics. When they say 50 times, I'll respect your decision, and you respectfully and politely say not for me, no thanks, being belittled, badgered, bullied by 4 more strangers is unacceptable. When you say you can't afford the $2,000 US per month and they remember what you do for a living and throw it back at you trying to guilt you into a mortgage, not acceptable. When its finally over, and the initial salesperson begs for a tip - I have ZERO RESPECT for this company and their tactics.
The beach though. beautiful!
P.S. Although we were invited to stay and enjoy the property for the day, all inclusive, and then they charge your room at the host resort THEY put you in for the drinks. ZERO RESPECT.response / report this review -

Nice mediterranean style hotel. Beautiful narrow inner passage between 2-3 storeys buildings and nicely decorated with live plants is so good!!! I fall in love with this hotel! It is not too much places I wanted to come back but this one I definitely want!
Food is fresh and tasty. Vegetables and fruits are very good. There is pool and sufficient amount of beach chairs. At evening there are nice shows in Caribbean style. There is also some entertainment at day time. You can take free shuttle or even boat to go to Sunset Royal. Shuttle goes to Sunset Royal, Laguna Suites, Ocean Spa and back to Sunset Marina. 1 tour takes 1 hour. It is free of charge. It circulating all day. You can go to any of these hotels to eat, drink and use any facilities as if you stay there.

We have been coming to Sunset Marina for 20 years. It is a most relaxing and fun resort. Many of the staff have 15 plus years here and we love to see them. Breakfast is delightful! Shuttles or boats run regularly between the 4 locations. Thank you to the staff: Lydia, Rudy, Gonzalo, Henry, Fabian. Well see you next time.

Very beautiful resort. Nice to have access to a boost to get to the ocean easily. My complaint would be that they constantly are trying to upgrade you even after you tell them you are not interested. Otherwise very nice resort. Great people and great service!

The Sunset Marina has given us a great time during the time we've been here. I love that you can use your all-inclusive pass to go to the other properties. The boat taxi rocks. The pool rocks. The service rocks. My only suggestions are: 1. Later pool and bar hours. 2. More of that amazing lagoon pizza. Otherwise this place is a dream. Would love to come back asap!

Great small resort with wonderful customer service attention. Shout out to Alberto from guest services who went above and beyond for us, giving us a relaxing birthday and anniversary celebrations. Special mention to Javier and Tino who made sure our beverages were kept topped up in the buffet restaurant. Awesome people! Wonderful atmosphere.

Came here for a membership presentation from the Sunset Resorts group. As in the title, this resort has a marina and yachts available to use if you choose to purchase a membership for their hotel group. The facilities are clean and well kept and seemed to be a bit nicer than the Ocean Spa Resort (also part of Sunset). The beach here didn't have the soft white sand and turquoise water that you see in all the marketing for Cancun. For that, you nees to go further south down the highway and away from the coral reef. Food was decent. Located in the middle of a large tourist area. The area seemed safe and i didn't have any issues travelling up and down the highway by bus or by foot.

Great place to spend a week in, need more time; so many things to do, loved the way they kept their word about their activities; shout out to Rachel, Ivan, Angelo and Tony also Gabriel and Artemio will make sure you will never go thirsty at the bar and Emilio thanks for making sure my mini bar was always full and Flora trust worthy and my place was always clean, few more names Miguel and Julio, food was delicious, grilled to my specs, and for encore great pizza, Jesus, you're the man. Everyone was ready to help us all the time.

I was originally booked for Royal Sunset and at the last minute before travelling, I was given the option to switch to Sunset Marina. 3 days into my trip, I am totally enjoying my stay with my family. The staff is so helpful and the accommodation is absolutely prefect. Only missing the beach front bit with free access to Royal Sunset, I have the best of all worlds!

Beautiful setting, very clean and comfortable. Staff eager to please. Restaurant Buffet varied and delicious. Plenty of local attractions Bring lots of $1.00 for tips and bus fares. Be careful and run fast whenever you cross Kukulahan Blvd. The busses are fast. Have fun!!!

This was our first time visit to Cancun and we loved all of it. People around us everybody was so nice and friendly. We enjoyed every moment of our time being there. They've all fresh fruits and vegetables, I am already missing their omelettes and tacos. They also have many activities, shows, water taxi ride. Ours was everything included with a reasonable price. Excellent Resort. We own a membership and have stayed here 4 times now. The staff is fantastic, and there is very little turnover, so you can get to know staff over time.
We had a great stay with great food and service. Will return again.response / report this review
