Extremely friendly staff, affordable place, great location. One of the few remaining places that feels local, surrounded by high-class resorts that cater heavily to western tourism.

Staff are nice and helpful. Grounds are beautiful and well kept. Food was delicious and varying with lots of fruit. For the five days we were there you could duplicate menu items so some items might get old. Rooms were clean, nice and simple but we're dated. Partial ocean view rooms especially on first floor really only had a partial view of the ocean from patio but we're nice. Pool area was clean. Plenty of beach to walk on, sun on, and get feet wet, but swimming is very risky and dangerous along most of beach because of rip tides and currents. Resort is quiet but has plenty of lively activity in the evening especially on weekends.

It was a very pleasant small homie place. May not be the Hilton, but it’s very nice if you want relaxation. The staff is very friendly. Fabiola, Saul, Salvador,Felipe and manager Jose so sweet. We enjoyed our week here. Beautiful view, clean room.
Food was great. Had no problems. Meet other couples and enjoyed time at the bar. Karaoke, Mariachi, singing real nice. Going back next year we loved our time here.
Ladies who cleaned our room very nice and helpful
    Very reasonable!!

The hotel is not too big which is big plus for me. Staff is very friendly, and very helpful.
Food is great for the money that you paid for.
Hotel has lots of old Mexican charm and despite that some rooms are outdated
I would definitely come back. View from rooms is absolutely beautiful and beach very close for long walking.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay ocean side! Besides wall's being paper thin..You will hear your neighbors..would give 5 stars if not for this. Very affordable and everyone including the guests are friendly and happy.

Very nice beach, cool staff, hotel a little old and not very well taking care off, but it's ok for the price..

Good experience overall. The hotel has beach access & all inclusive packages. The regualar pool starts at 5ft. There is a swim-up bar. The rooms our outdated and could use some fixing, but its a nice authentic private hotel. The beds are soft Bit of a weird smell in the lobby. The food on the buffet line is ok; its better to have what they cook to order on the line. Every night has a different dinner theme. Depending on the bartender, cocktails taste great. Overall good vibes and they put forth the effort to make it a good experience!

It was near the ocean but you can't swim there because of the wave breaks. You need to travel 30 minutes to get to everything on the sea side.

Clean rooms, nice facilities, and kind staff. Food in the restaurant is not good but the snack bar is amazing. I also love the pool and swim up bar, nice beach and activities.

Great service, clean rooms, and an amazing ocean view from pool. I stayed here for a girls getaway and we had a wonderful stay. The hotel was very relaxing and the food and drinks were delicious. I loved the hotel's dessert motif and the swim up bar. San Jose is very quiet and relaxing, but it doesn't have a nightlife. Also, the ocean had high undertones and we were not allowed to swim in the ocean area next to the hotel. However, we were able to take a 30 minute bus ride into Cabo San Lucas on days when we wanted to hang out on the beach or access the nightlife. We were three women traveling alone and we felt safe throughout.

Beautiful hotel. Very friendly staff. Great pool with a bar. And the ocean couldn't be closer.
Perfect except found little ant insects in my room on the bathroom sink and the counters in the room

It's not a 5 star resort but it's amazing as it is. Cheaper but the rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, the food is great, the pools are clean, the ocean is the backdoor, and the environment is good. I'd definitely stay here again. There's live entertainment and music. Great place to stay.

Great staff, very kind and helpful. Hotel installations could be better, they are a bit old, but everything is clean, functional, comfortable. Drinks and food are good. Live music at night creates a great environment. Beach access, but it's not allowed/recommended to swim in the area. Pool and Jacuzzi are great.

Small bargain hotel with excellent staff. We got the breakfast and drinks option (they also have all inclusive options). The food is pretty good but we wanted the option to eat outside of the hotel. The rooms are average and could use some updating but really you are in Cabo for the sun and beaches so that isn't a deal breaker. The staff go out of their way to make your stay awesome Five stars for the staff!
