Good hotel in a convenient location, but our fellow guests were not our cup of tea. We'd come back, but next time, we'd prefer not to be surrounded by irreverent spring break party animals. Bartenders were great though.

Hotel has been beautifully updated with just a few original rooms still left to be completed it seems. Tastefully done, simple but sheek and totally comfortable. Fantastic classy stay in Cabo at a not ridiculous price point. Internet costs but worked great. I thought the hotel stood apart on several levels: The onsite restaurant Esquina incredible cuisine, fun music later in the evening, delicious breakfast. Coffee shop attached also terrific and convenient. The Hotel was updated as mentioned, very clean and hands down the most lovely staff I have come across at any hotel. From the Valet folks who shuttled my kids to the Bahia Hotel's Beach Club everyday, Victor and Jose at the Concierge desk who arranged whatever my friend and I wanted to do and checked in with us, Gunther at the Bahia's SUR beach club who arranged a memorable whale watching ride, the manager of Esquina, the manager of the SUR beach club- the waiters, really they all treat you like royalty without smothering you. Big Kuddos to all the staff.

I loved the old restaurant, however this place
Knocks my socks off !
Novelle Mexican cuisine, I said Cuisine .

Bar Esqunia was great! Recommend the hibiscus margarita and mushroom pizza. I accidentally left my credit card and came back to get it, they had it locked in the safe. Was able to get it in a few minutes. Definitely recommend.

It was just a 5-minute walk to the beach, they have a very friendly staff, and their room service is easy! I highly recommend this hotel!

Stayed 5 days Oct 5-10 with 8 other friends. This is the 4th time I have stayed here. This place and its staff ROCKS. Food is amazing and Lee is the Host with the Most. We actually only ate 1 meal at a different resort. Rooms are clean and comfy. The SUR beach club plays great music and you are right by the fun and massages. This place is 5 star with a great price. Stay here you will LOVE it.

We just got back from Cabo yesterday. we stayed at the Bahia based on the good reviews and affordability and it was a huge mistake. First of all they are not welcoming or friendly, every time we called for ice or asked a question they were extremely rude and took forever to come. Our bags were gone through by the maid services twice out of the four days we were there and cash was stolen. It was only $60, but it was in a pouch zipped up in a suitcase and when we let the front desk know they were completely unamused. No apology, nothing. Like it was a normal thing there. They told us if we wanted we could write a report and they could start an investigation. Like it was a diamond ring or something? We also came home to discover tons of tiny itchy bed bug bites all over. Staying at this hotel utterly ruined my trip. There are so many hotels in cabo where you are treated like royalty. Do not stay here.

A little bit old-fashioned mexican style. Very friendly and helpful personal. Close to the beach with its own pretty nice beach club. Occasionally too loud due to construction / renovation in the hotel. But there is construction work all over the region.
For the hotel alone I would have given 3 stars, but added 1 extra star for the beach house.

Great outdoor dining area at the restaurant. Live music was a plus. We stayed at ME Cabo and it was right down the street. Very convenient. Food was decent, the service and ambiance were tops!

This place is amazing. It truly has everything you need and the staff are super helpful to make your stay amazing. The food and drinks are incredible. The sister beach club, SUR, was an amazing addition. This was a classy break from the Spring Break vibe. I was extremely pleased and would recommend to anyone.

Great laid back hotel. Pool bar with HH all day. Great restaurant with live music. Friendly staff. They also have a beach club on the beach and will taxi you out to lovers beach for $10 per person.

We stayed Feb 19-26th 2017 and had a wonderful stay. The best thing about the hotel was the staff, food ,and location. We had a deluxe queen double. The room was great and the beds very comfortable with a nice view over the pool.My wife could not climb into the bed so they built her a step. It worked great. The hotel is close to everything so no need for those expensive cabs. We enjoyed our diners at SUR and the restaurant in the hotel. Can not wait to come back.

The remodeled rooms are rustic and bright. The lighting can be very dim or bright for nightly reading. All the staff. ALL THE STAFF, from the cleaning staff, to the concierge, to the restaurant, to the pool, are delightful. The food is very tasty. As a coffee roaster myself, their espresso bar is finely tuned to be consistent and cater to all audiences. We can't wait to come back.
