The small suite was perfect for 3 of us. 2 double beds that were comfortable and a pull out sofa bed in the living room. Kitchen with some dishes and silverware, stove, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, and a blender. Clean, nice staff, fine swim up bar pool. Location allows easy walks to the beach, shopping areas, bird estuary reserve, restaurants, and catching the bus. I would come back to the room we rented. I cannot speak for other rooms.

Great place for solo traveler or family vacation and everything in between. Friendly staff. Nice restaurant and bar (yes you can swim up if you like). I'm already planning a return trip!

Hot tub never worked. Reviews show it hasn't worked for over a month! Nothing in studio room exept a uncomfortable bed, off color worn out TV, and a shower that won't turn off and took two days to fix it to a dripping shower, very noisy A/C. Drinks were watered down as well. I wish I could say something positive but they never even said sorry for any of the problems.

I would give it a 0 if I could. This is basically a cheap motel and not a resort. Very basic room and no amenities. Hot tub broken for quite some time. Rooms in ill repair. Loud clanging of dishes and food prep going on from 7 am till 11 pm in room next door but you only ever saw staff go in or out of that room. Very slow to respond to complaints. It took days.. If you complain they will blow you off and manager never shows face. Oh and no activities to speak of. Not even a fitness room.

Friendly staff, quality rooms, the internet was fast, and each room has a little balcony. No hot tub, but it's so hot there you won't want one, and the pools are very refreshing. The food and drinks are pricy but what do you expect at a resort? Also, La Comer, Mexico's Walmart, is right down the street, and you can walk back with a cart and the hotel returns it for you. Only problem is there's no beach access since the majority of the beaches are reserved for larger hotels. If you like golfing, this place is right next to a golf course. All water here is purified!

Our stay here was great! Staff was very friendly and polite. Rocio always did a great job everyday as our housekeeper. We would come back and everything was clean and in order! She did a great job and adding her personal touch in adding my son's stuff toy on the bed, but not just on the bed arrangement but in every part of each room!
Loved the clothesline in the bathroom. Great to dry your bathing suits and swimming trunks while you sleep.
The pool was always clean to swim in. As a pool owner I approve! My kids were in the pool everyday! The kitchen had everything you needed to make your stay feel like home but better! We went in August and our room was on the lower level. In the evening we would sit outside in the balcony and enjoy the cool evening. This is way I gave it five starrs! Very small but perfect. Good for families. Low key. Staff was very nice and helpful. We golfed the course right next to Park Royal. 9 holes nothing fancy but we had a great time

The rooms could use an update, but the location is great for San Jose del Cabo. There is a mall about five minutes away on foot with very low prices on food and drink. There is also a bus station next to the mall with a bus to San Lucas for 33 pesos. The resort staff is friendly and helpful.

The hotel was very flexible and friendly in responding to my requests before arrival. I think the type of room we stayed in was called the ambassador's suite: The room was very spacious with a living room area, dining area, fully-equipped kitchen, large bathroom and bedroom. We felt at home there. A/C worked great in the heat. Pools on-site are relaxing, and the whole property is surrounded by a golf course so it was tranquil at night. There's a big grocery store across the street to stock up your fridge. Close to both San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. Only down side is that the access road to the hotel has some potholes, but I'm sure they'll pave over them before the high season, and there were some ants in our room- not an unusual amount, but if you are squeamish about bugs you are now warned.

Staff is very friendly and eager to help. Poolside cabanas are great. They have 2 pools, a warm water one great for night and evening swimming and a cool one that is amazing in the daytime heat. Rooms were clean nicely furnished. Only downside for me is that there is Wi-Fi only in certain parts of the hotel. And it's not very good.
