We are Villa Group members & have stayed here many times. Friendly & helpful staff. Great views of Lands End, cruise ships & Medano Beach. We like Arco better than Palmar in Cabo - a bit less activity & noise. Great restaurants! We'll be back soon. April 2018 update - same great services and facilities - we continue to return to Villa del Arco!

Private residence next to East building with dogs in yard that do NOT stop barking all night long. Never got any sleep from day 2 to are end of our stay. Hotel did not reserve both rooms that we requested so we can have our kids next door. They put us on different wings. Heard all doors slam at night and early in the morning. The room with bedroom near kitchen has the refrigerator running at all hours of the night. Breakfast is slow, they are under staff. You have to wait 10 to 15 in line for some if the food. Will never stay here again. Vacation ruined. #villadelpalmar

Great views, clean pools, fun slides, and staff is very friendly.
Beaches are beautiful. It gets deep very quickly. Lots of undertow to enjoy and be careful about. Beware of the beaches outside the perimeter. Stray dogs are an issue in certain area.
Lots of locals at the beach will try to sell you things you probably wont need. They are pushy but still nice people.
There are three resorts in total in this group and restaurants.and bar are all interchangeable under all inclusive.
There are movie nights by the beach, by open fireplace on certain days of the week.
Resort is a 10-15 minutes walk to the city. It's safe and locals don't hassle you outside the touristy area

This resort was so beautiful. The pools were beautiful. The service at all of the resturaunts was great. Most of the food was great. The view was breath taking. Room service and house keeping was top notch. I loved it so much that I bought a membership!

Love this place ! We were just walking around and stop by this place to look at it we were greeted by Oliver! He was so welcoming and helpful and such a delight that we decided to finish our walk and go back the for the jazz entertainment that night. Nice wine list and menu and the work so hard to please. The manager helped us choose the perfect wine and deserts. This place is worth going to. Will be going back to this one.

Good location. The beach is busy, I like watching all the vendors. Some people call it "hey lady" beach so if you're more quiet it won't be your thing. Rooms are nice and have washing machines. Restaurants are horribly overpriced and not very good, but if you stay here it was probably in part because you're within walking distance of town so I expect you won't use that part of the resort much. Time share is more expensive than just buying a room each year. Overall 5 star if you use the resort like my family does, go elsewhere if you want to stay only in the resort or have a really quiet beach.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom for a week. The room was very spacious and the Murphy bed was not bad to sleep on! The grounds and pool are very well kept and the location is great. The staff is beyond helpful!

I've been going to Cabo for 9 years and have stayed at both Villa del Arco and Villa del Palmar. My parents have a timeshare with the Villa Group. I highly recommend both places. Villa del Arco is the newer of the two (rooms are furnished more modernly) and the pool is bigger. The staff at both locations is amazing, always friendly and welcoming (from the groundsmen, the cleaning staff to the servers and front desk ladies). A lot of food options if you chose to eat at one of their restaurants (we typically go to Walmart and/or Costco to get groceries) but have eaten at the majority of their restaurants at one time or another. Rooms are always clean and have the conveniences of home (Fridge, stove, microwave, etc.). If you stay in a 1 bedroom or bigger at Arco, you also get a washer and dryer. The location is great, right on Medano Beach and is in walking distance to the mall and marina. You also have the option to take a water taxi into town or a regular taxi. You're also in walking distance to The Office and The Mango Deck, two popular bars on the beach.

I'm going to say 3 stars, due to the fact that the "All Inclusive" isn't as promised, meaning they don't want you "pool hopping." We were here for a wedding and the resorts were kinda strict about the style of types of drinks one could have. And they are very pushy for you to do the Sales pitch for their club. We were able to work out a good price on waverunners and a sunset dinner, be careful not to agree to anything you don't want to do. Keep shades on and just say "We don't make enough to cover that!" Get the food and booze. But its on you to not pay for what is not needed

Cool little pirate ship in the middle of the pool that makes a great picture. Location a short 15 min walk to the main city. Staff were extremely friendly. However, didn't really try much of their food or drinks to comment on.

This place was awesome!! All the staff was really helpful and made you feel right at home! The place is incredible! Near downtown, right on the beach and lots of activities to entertained all ages. Extremely clean and the rooms were very spacious! Highly recommended!

Great experience here, the lobby and rooms are beautiful, evetything is clean, very helpful staff, the food at the restaurants and poolside taco shop is excellent. Short walk or water taxi ride to town. Would definitely stay here again.

Timeshare sales are heavy, be prepared. The resort is fanominal. Could very well be a great timeshare investment. Location and amenities are beyond perfect. Looks like paradise on Earth.

This is a very nice place. Ground are kept clean, staff is friendly and always willing to help out. Rooms are in very good condition. View is great as long you have a sea view room. They have three decks of pools. Lower deck is a bit to warm for me, middle pool is a bit cooler but I only stood on the top pool, it was the coolest temperature from all. Food is pretty good and also with use to it's sister resort Villa De Palmas. You have more choices to eat from. I wasn't a fan of the pool on the other resort because it was more family oriented, to many kids running around. I would recommend a stay here.

We visited in October.

You could get away with a trip here with just your wallet and phone. This resort is part of three resorts run by the same company. There is a free trolley that will take you between them. There is a market at one that has everything you might need that you didn't bring. Here's a solid packing list: Hygiene Kit, Swimsuit, flip flops, phone charger.

This is the quieter of the three connected resorts and has everything you'd need. We went for the all-inclusive option and did our best to eat and drink to make up for the cost, and that was a bit difficult to do. If you don't drink or eat much, skip the all-inclusive optionunless you eat the most expensive item on the menu for all the meals.

There are several different themed restaurants on the resort, a few are in the same location and just change theme depending on the time of day. Breakfast buffet was more than satisfactory. Even with the all-inclusive option you'll still have receipts to sign (so many receipts!) and tips are not included so be sure to add those.

We stayed in one of the mini-penthouses and most everything was perfect. The only wish I had was that the coffee in the room would be restocked. I can't comment on the other rooms but it seemed everyone we ran into was happy with their accommodations. These are time shares so each room will be a little different.

There was ample seating and space around the pools, various hot tubs and the staff/servers were responsive enough. If you wanted to do an activity just ask one of the three concierges in the main lobby and they'll set you up with the resorts' option if it's available. While we were there we wanted to take a Hobie Cat out but they were under repair. The staff doesn't option-offer well, such as "Ours are under repair but there's a vendor down the beach to the right" so you'll need to pry or go look for yourself.

On the subject of vendorsa storm in recent years had washed away a lot of beach space in the bay. The vendors are literally at the bottom of the steps to the beach from the resort, they are there all day long. You can hardly walk to the edge of the resort (at the beach) without a vendor trying to sell you something. If you don't like that sort of thing, it can get irksome.

The resort is well placed and in proximity to many local hot spots.

You will enjoy your time.
