Don't love the taste of the coffee but decent atmosphere being attached to the museum and decent snacks

Very nice specialty Coffee Shop in Nanaimo. Located on Commercial Street the heart of the city. The food is good, and the owner still makes homemade Nanaimo Bars for dessert. With a fantastic atmosphere where you can enjoy a cup of java, get some work done via free internet, or enjoy a quiet conversation over a great choice and reasonably priced lunch with a friend. There's spacious sitting inside,. in the adjacent Museum, or on the street patio outside.

Awesome coffee. I tried a Latte and my girlfriend got a Chai Tea Latte. She said it was one of the best she's ever had. Amazing cookies and Nanaimo bar as well. Highly recommend, especially on a rainy day like the day I visited.

Serious Coffee, downtown Nanaimo, has been a favorite for a long time - Always friendly staff and a clean atmosphere. I tend to be on the go a lot and I can always count on a quality beverage, snack, and a place to recharge myself (and my devices) to continue on to the next meeting, gig or just homeward bound.
Not far from the harbourfront and surrounded by Nanaimo's shops and stores, they're right where you need 'em.
They have something for everyone and, even with the new staff, ALWAYS a friendly face!

Owner and waitress were great. Coffee is fantastic and the turkey muffin thingy was delish. Love love the music in here . It brightens my day.

Staff are very friendly and the place has a great atmosphere. The pastry is amazing! The coffee is great and so is their other drinks. Definitely recommend.

Great drinks, good food. Always crowded around lunch hour. They have outdoor seating which is rare downtown, so that's definitely a plus.

Most of the time when I go there it is an amazing experience and I have wonderful service by the staff. Today however was not so great, I went there with a friend and got a latte and the girl who took my order didn't even bother to smile or even attempt to act nice. She kept on clashing all of the utensils around while she was making my latte and when she served it to me she practically slammed it down in front of me, some of the latte even spilled out and she just walked away really quickly. I'll still always come here, I'll just make sure I have a different server.
