Jeffery Kao is very great. He helped me a lot and provided good sales and service. Now I am so happy with my new car! Thanks.
Spent 45K on a new vehicle last week and we overlooked that the rear cargo mat was not part of the overall mat package. Sales person went to manager and sales manager would not even discount 10% on retail cost of the mat. We did not ask for it to be thrown in, just a one time discount evennot. Hey Nanaimo Toyota, you won the battle, but lost the war. I have already diverted one new sale you would have had to Jimmy Pattison Toyota Duncanand trust me many more to come.
Another fabulous servicing of my Toyota on Nov. 28th! Leroy and his staff are totally amazing. They are all extremely courteous, friendly, obliging, efficient and attentive. They also give my vehicle superlative care and attention. If there were a score higher than A+, Nanaimo Toyota would certainly get it. Jo Sheridan
We had our 2006 GMC detailed and are extremely pleased with the results. The vehicle looks almost brand new. Thank you very much to all the staff who worked on it
We live on Mayne Island and we were so impressed by Brennan Kipp on our first visit to Nanaimo Toyota that we decided to purchase our new RAV4 from them. We were so satisfied with Brennan's knowledge of the vehicles and the available purchasing options and incentives that it made our decision easy (regardless of the travel distance). After 30+ years dedicated to a different make of vehicle we have made the switch to Toyota and Brennan and the team at Nanaimo Toyota were a big part of that decision. We love the RAV4 and there is no regret in our choice.
Jeffery Kao is very friendly and patient, he answered my questions about features and functions of the cars I was interested in. The staff are very helpful and efficient, and I learned a lot about cars.
Brennan Kipp was a most helpful and considerate salesperson. He provided all the info I needed and made buying a new car a pleasure.
Best Customer Service! I just recently got my Toyota Echo serviced. Very knowledgable and honest service advisors, Steve Dunn is great!!
My last major repair at this dealer was on Sept 29, 2015 and involved brake work and replacing a rear bearing and seal and the total invoice cost was $3,474.03 but as long as the work was done properly I was fine paying it. Unfortunately, the rear seal wasn't replaced correctly and has been leaking all over my tire and brakes. Fortunately, the work was still under warranty (24 months) but unfortunately I was still charged to replace rear right brake shoes that I had to replace due the defective seal. To add insult to injury I also paid to have these brake shoes replaced with my original work order under two year ago. The wear and tear on these shoes would have been minimal given that the first time the rear brakes were done was at 203,937 km. Yeah yeah I know the toyota warranties never cover brakes but when you consider this situation is it really worth charging the customer for brake shoes and losing the business for life? I have two toyota vehicles that I used to bring there for service. Why did I have to replace the rear brake shoes? because the seal leaked oil all over them. What was the condition of the shoes without the oil contamination? excellent given they were replaced in 2015. But the warranty policy says we have to charge - well I say see you later then.
The right rear tire where the seal was replaced should have also been cleaned as it would have taken a few minutes to wipe the inside and outside rim and when I picked up the truck the wheel was still covered in oil from the leak? Just a little thing like that can go a long way but I guess warranty work is low priority. On a positive note the service guy (steve) I dealt with was very personable and efficient. Looking at other reviews I get the sense the quality control and this dealership is not good anymore.
Excellent service. I was a customer to have sensors installed on a car that was not purchased from the dealership. I was made welcome and car was serviced promptly. The service advisors are friendly and very helpful. I will have my car serviced Toyota Nanaimo from now on. I am not in need for a new car but I will recommend this dealer to my friends. TOYOTA NANAIMO YOU DID A GREAT JOB.

Great, friendly service. It's a car dealership though, so that's pretty standard.
I had a long drawn out experience with the staff. Yes they fixed the problem, but the problem ended up being one wire that cost 1000 dollars of labour to fix. I know that 95% of the time they were trying to just find the problem in the first place, but they definitely were never confident of a fix, and were looking in the wrong spot most of the time. The reason I'm still giving them 3 stars is because they were very understanding and sympathetic to the situation (even though it didn't save me money). If you have electrical problems, think twice about taking it here.
Big thumbs up to Leroy Dinsmore and his service staff. Leroy went above and beyond to help resolve repairs to my son's Tacoma and service on my Dad's Tacoma. Leroy's contact with us was great - kept us up to date at each step of the way. Thanks, Leroy.
Great staff who were incredibly helpful in finding us the perfect vehicle. Would highly recommend both their sales and service staff. Very friendly and they don't mind answering any questions we had.
Great staff. Friendly and welcoming. No sales pressure. We leased a new vehicle and are happy with it. My only issue, the reason I can't give 5 stars is, they wanted to finish the deal quickly, "to lock in the rate". I ended up signing the papers and taking home the vehicle in the afternoon of the last day of the month. The next day the interest rate went down and I realized I payed $400+ more because I didn't wait one day. I brought this to their attention and was told "sometimes the rates go up, sometimes they go down". After doing some research, I don't believe this. The interest rate for new vehicles almost always either stays the same or goes down, but rarely, if ever goes up.
I was also told the rates are set by Toyota Canada and they have no control over it, nor do they profit from the difference in rates (I believe this). If that is the case, the only reason to encourage the deal to be finished by month end would be to secure the sales staff's commission for that month. They would have made the exact same amount, just one month later and I would have saved $400+ if I had waited a day. To put the speed you get your paycheck above what would be better for the customer is disrespectful.
To their credit, they did offer discounts for other products or services to help keep me happy. But ultimately, me losing $400 shouldn't just be an incentive to spend more. It never should have happened in the first place.
I don't mean for this to be a very negative review, with the exception of that one issue, everything else was spot on. They answered all questions up front and responded to email and text extremely fast, even on their days off. I recommend anyone looking for a new vehicle to see these people, as you will get exceptional, no pressure, friendly, welcoming service.
Advice to customers: Buy or lease at the beginning of the month. That's when the new deals and interest rates come out. The odds that the interest rate will go up month to month is quite rare.
