Staff is so nice! Upgraded our room literally last second no problem just because I wanted a big bath tub to relax in lol. Very accommodating! Second time I've stayed here and I love it!

Decent cheap place to stay in a great location. Would stay again. Was quiet. Rooms were dark enough. Parking across the street was cheap but they need to improve the access. You shouldnt have to check out, go get your truck, find somewhere else to temporarily park it, to return the room key that u have to use for parking.

Clean and comfy rooms. Great location with everthing you need within a couple of blocks. The fridge was in an awkward place in our suite and it lacked a microwave. The room was big and the bathroom was amazing with a walk in glass shower and very deep bathtub and two sinks. The drapes could use replacing. The bed was suoer comfy with very clean bedding. We would definitely stay there again. The bath robes were nice extra touch and amazingly soft ans cozy

Fabulous location if you don't mind walking to see the sights. Call beforehand to inquire about parking so you can check in first. Parking is across the street. Centrally located to Gastown, Vancouver Lookout, Granville Island and more! Rooms are very nice and our bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly. Loved it! Definitely would stay here again!

This older hotel is in a good location for events, concerts, dining etc. Staff was very friendly and helpful with an early check in. The building is old and the upgraded rooms are a little tired already but there is a lot of charm here. Heating system quit on our second day there, but the temp was ok so we left it off and let them know as we were leaving, I'm sure by other reviews that they have heard the complaint before and it didn't really bother us. The price was fair, but could be a little better in the slower season, or offer perks like discounts on breakfast/dinner. We did visit the wine bar & the restaurant (for breakfast) & both were great.

I was at UVA wine bar. The service and live music was delightful. The drinks are good. Reasonably priced and good atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

Nice staff. It is a small boutique hotel so they do not offer room service. The central location makes up for this with easy access to shops and restaurants that are really close. It is easy to explore downtown with public transportation or walking from the hotel.

Air conditioning was out of service without notice. The room felt dirty. There was a pretty substantial stain on the carpet. The bathroom finish was cracked and felt dirty. Also the design - toilet paper is out of reach from toilet. Just overall a really poor experience, for too great a price.

Nice hotel located at Vancouver downtown. Staff very helpful and polite. Always there to help. Nice restaurant and bar . Located 5 minutes walking distance from nearest metro station. Also located 10 minutes walking distance from the cruise terminal. Highly recommended!!!!!

A perfectly reasonable hotel situated in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Moda Hotel offers a refined hotel experience without the extra cost. I stayed here for one night and had no issues. Street noise was as I would expect from a place in downtown, the room we had was very clean and modern and staff at the desk were very polite. The only issue we encountered was that the WiFi didn't work. The signal just didn't reach our room, one bar or none on 3 different devices (top floor corner room).

We enjoyed our stay at Moda. The room was small but clean and comfortable. The location is great for shopping and sightseeing. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The onsite Red Card Sports Bar is a great place to hang out, have some dinner and a beer and just relax. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

Hotel is great to try. Was interesting to stay there for myself and the wife. We enjoyed ourselves for the local access. The room was clean and cozy, but the staff and service could use a little help. We arrive after a long drive and we thought it was all paid, then we have to put a $200 deposit for damage.who needs that for a small room??? It should have been on the website when prepaying. And the only other thing I would say is the smell, was a little off-putting. But to eachs' own, try for yourself.

Good from afar but far from good. I looked up some of the pictures online of the rooms and they looked like a five star room! but when we got there it felt more like a highway motel with a quick splash of paint. the carpets were dingy enough we did not want to take our shoes off. there were scuff marks allover the walls and it looked like the waste can in the bathroom had been taken out back and given a few licks with a baseball bat. the atmosphere was not any better as we had the constant sound of our next door neighbor blasting his pay per view porn as loud as the tv would allow (made things very uncomfortable) all in all would probably try to avoid this hotel in the future

The hotel price is excellent. Cleaning could be improved. Replace the carpets. I really did not want to take my shoes off. Awesome shower and large bathroom in the suit.
They included the breakfast. The slowest food prep I have seen in years. Restaurant was empty and 45 minutes to get our food. Same every day. We stayed for 3 days.response / report this review
