Nice little hotel in the gaslight district. Close to the waterfront which helps if that's the area your want to explore. Note that the hotel has a shared washroom (2-3 on each floor). I stayed for a night and this was not a problem for me. Also I couldn't work the remote and Mohammed was nice enough to come fix it for me. As well as the phone that was disconnected. Could have more breakfast options but overall good hotel.

Great room at a great price. In the downtown core of Vancouver within walking distance of many restaurants, shops and activities. Best Continental breakfast ever with real handmade pastries, cereals, fresh fruit and delicious coffee. Secure on site parking for $20 was definitely worth the money spent. Fluffy bathrobes and handmade soaps & body lotion were a nice touch. Friendly and competent staff were awesome. Haven't a negative thing to say and looking for to staying there again soon!

This was a really nice hotel. After we booked and I saw on google that it was only a 2 star I was a little worried but it turned out to be great. It's a very cute hotel, they've kept some of what I'm assuming was the original features like the door handles, but they've renovated the rooms. It was very clean and quaint. Bathrooms were lovely, and good size as was the room (2 queen beds, sitting nook with bay window with seat bench and big beautiful windows with lots of natural light). They honestly have the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in (I would give it 5 stars on that alone they were so great). The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, and they had a minimal but nice continental breakfast (coffee, lemon water, different croissants and breads). All in all this was a surprisingly great hotel, especially for only being a 2 star. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area.

Great budget option. Great budget continental breakfast, nice modern bathrooms, friendly staff. Only problem was lack of air con so was rather stuffy in the room and very noisy outside with window open. Great inner city location for getting anywhere although the immediate area wasn't particularly nice. This is budget done right! Keep your expectations reasonable and you willl be pleased!

Very nice place to stay with lovely decor which gave the living areas a nice classy luxurious feel. All the facilities we're functional but some places seemed a little dusty. The hotel is located in a very convenient area close to the main roads. Breakfast served was good, only downfall was the area was quite small with limited seating. Overall a great place to stay and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay near downtown Vancouver.

Pretty nice hotel and very good located. we had a room with shared bathrooms. i was not sure how that would be, but i am positively surprised. the batheooms were quiet clean (depends on other guests of course) and never crowded. there is a separate shower for women only. our room was small but kind of sweet (such as the whole hotel and staff). of course it was in the hotel description, but the room was not air conditioned, there was just a fan and so the room got very hot during the day and the window wasn't that big to cool down in the eve. the breakfast was quite nice (tough hours 7-9). so a nice and quite cheap hotel in a good place (if you choose shared bathrooms).

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this charming boutique hotel in Vancouver. The rooms are cheerfully decorated with period pieces, the complimentary breakfast was filling enough to keep me going all morning. It is conveniently located within walking distance of the Gaslight District with excellent shipping and dining nearby. While the bathrooms are shared, there were multiple locations available on each floor and they were always clean. I look forward to staying there again.

Rooms are great and really ooze Victorian charm. The breakfasts are great and feature fresh pastries from a nearby bakery. Parking can be rough unless you get lucky enough to park in the back lot, however.

Wonderful location, close to everything. Adorable, clean rooms. Friendly, helpful staff with good recommendations for shopping, bars, and restaurants. The shared bathrooms were very modern and clean and never had to wait to use one. The breakfast was light and delicious. Will definitely stay here again.

Cool Victorian style hotel. Clean, nice rooms with bathrooms down the hall. Attracts a fair share of international folks. A simple but sufficient continental breakfast is included.

Location was fairly easy to get to if not for the remembrance parade closing all the streets, but that's not the hotels fault. When calling the staff were alright to deal with but not exceptionally helpful. Once I arrived the service was decent and the rooms were clean etc. The rooms weren't anything special but the bathrooms that are separate from the rooms were pretty nice and the breakfast in the morning is complimentary and wasn't bad. Just croissants, toast, fruit salad, cereal etc. Nothing too crazy but decent because it was included. The location was very very good though, nice and central to a lot of places and to Granville sky train too. Overall it was a good hotel, nothing too fancy but would definitely come back
