Great bar with nice waiters and fast service. Come here with a group from work and they accommodated well allowing us to push together some tables. I hope to come back at a later time.

My wife and I had a lovely time staying at this hotel for our anniversary. All the staff, from the vallet, to the concierge, to the servers in the restaurant were warm, welcoming, and a pleasure to deal with. Our room was exactly what we wanted and what we expected based on other reviews with personal touches and attention to detail throughout. The location was perfect as well, so central to some of the best shopping and activities that it alone could recommend this hotel. I believe we would both like to make The Wedgewood our preferred stop whenever we stay in Vancouver.

All staff members were very approachable and very friendly. Were able to answer all my questions. Offered current dated newspaper to read while I waited for my plus one. Service was excellent. Food was also good but portion size somewhat small compared to other places in Vancouver.

My wife surprised me for our anniversary with a night at Wedgewood as I've always wanted to stay. Pierce welcomed us at the front desk and was so warm and accommodating. The room was gorgeous and the soaker tub was amazing. If I had to critique anything it would only be the tiny cups and coffee pods. Very glad Starbucks is downstairs but would be amazing to have decent cups in our room. All in all, I am definitely coming back again. Thank you.

Beautiful setting in downtown Vancouver. Historic hotel with Victorian decor. Rooms are classicly decorated, beds are very comfortable, and every detail is delightful. Bacchus restaurant and bar has great food and atmosphere. Location is close to many other restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this hotel.

Thought we'd have a nice dinner in the Wedgewood Lounge, but turned out to be the worse meal we both had in a long time. Drinks and ambience were nice, but sure won't be going back for the food!

Came here to Bacchus for a dine out Vancouver dinner. Fairly disappointed for the whole evening. My wife chose the salmon but it ended up sitting on some soupy water, and it wasn't that flavourful. I had the slow-cooked short rib and it was not chewy, it was tough and dry in the middle. I can understand they are probably charging too little for the dine out menu, then heck don't offer what you offered.

Wondered how they ranked #2 for the best fine dining in Vancouver？

My husband and I stayed one night at this lovely hotel, and wish we could have stayed longer! Everything was so lovely. The staff was professional and courteous, and the front lobby was warm and inviting. We booked a suite package, and were more than pleased with the room, the amenities, and the location. The shower was amazing!

If you enjoy city walks, you can't beat the location. We were able to take a walk to Davie Street, Robson Street, Granville St, and just take in some of the sights. We opted not to dine in the hotel restaurant, but it looked lovely. We would like to visit again, and bring our daughters next time. They would enjoy all of the amenities (box of chocolates, anyone??!), and being able to easily tour the city by foot.
