The city was teaming with people and busy. The cafe off the main lobby was quiet - a great place 2 have Devonshire tea and have a catch up with a friend. Years ago my son went there with their dates after their high school formal. Although the sraff wouldn't serve them alcoholic drinks, the were able 2 have a cuppa if they wished. It was a great place 4 their families 2 pick them up.

Nice place. I had a king bed room. It had a desk for working, and a huge marble bathroom, huge tub, separate shower. Not sure why wifi isn't included. It's always an extra charge in high end hotels, and always free in budget hotels. The lobby is beautiful, complete with bar service and overpriced cocktails, as one would expect.

The hotel is quite nice and in a great location. The staff is very friendly, especially the bellhops and front-desk people (a couple of the concierges are a little grumpy). Overall a great place to stay in Melbourne.

Lovely spacious hotel with very friendly staff. We stayed overnight after seeing a performance at Hamer Hall and came back to the The Library bar for a cocktail.

Went here for high tea. The setting is very classy and the staff were highly professional. Great value for $50 plus the optional champagne for extra $25.

Beautiful hotel and large rooms. Seems like things have been updated recently as there wasn't any shabbiness. Service was fast and friendly. I stayed for business and will definitely be back. Location is nice and Central as well with great shopping and restaurants/cafes in the area

The room is spacious, clean and modern. The staff were very professional and made my stay all the more enjoyable. I had the pleasure of being assigned a room with workout equipment which was a pleasant surprise; the facilities were impeccable. Will definitely be returning :)

Very nice hotel, with friendly, helpful staff. Decent gym, though just one spin bike and one regular gym bike (electronic display on spin bike remained broken despite pointing it out to staff - just needed new batteries!).

My room was spacious and well-outfitted, with a big bathroom and comfortable beds. The location is very convenient, close to trams, the train station and lots of cafes/restaurants. Staff have been very friendly and helpful. My only complaints are that the rooms have power points in weird places, and that there's no free wifi.

Food was great, service was below average. Ordered a watermelon mocktail, the watermelon has gone off. Told the manager and she came back to me and told me the watermelon is fine, maybe I left the d ink on the table for too long. Was surprised to get such feedback.
